We went last weekend to Jayuya to share with few friends. One of the couples were staying at Parador Gripiñas so they scouted few places for the group coming from metro area. About La Casita restaurant, one of the best highlights was service. Sandra was excellent on every aspect, she was very attentive to needs of the group, offered good choices from the menu and from the bar. One of house drinks was the grabbed the attention of all and the taste of one of us a moscow mule with lavanda. It came in small wine carafe and a full lavanda color. The food was excellent, small "rellenos de papa", chorizos al vino, croquetas, arañitas... everything...
Read moreWe accidentally found this place to eat and I had very few times been more surprised by the food served than I had been in this place. Our server, Veronica, did a great job explaining everything we asked from to things that raised our eyebrows a bit. The churrasco was extremely tender and as we order it, medium. Not a bit over nor under cooked. Tasty, well seasoned, not too overwhelming and not leaving you with something to be desired. The appetizers we had were not only well cooked but fantastically presented, the work of a great chef! If I am ever around, I would definitely take a detour to eat at this...

For our apps we had the croquettes & queso frito (the cheese was a little under cooked but the croquettes was delicious) our dinner was so delicious we didn't even get pictures! Pechuga cubierta de setas & la casita ensalada , very very very yummy!! Salad was a little sweet but very delicious, chicken was juicy and full of flavor and Leo said the rice tasted like grandma cooked it!! P.s shots...
