Placed mobile order at 5:18 to pick up asap. Ordered a Cajun filet biscuit combo, two chicken sandwich combos, and a large mac n cheese. Arrived at restaurant at 5:25 (see screenshot I took in case they asked me my order number). Told drive thru attendant I was there to pick up my mobile order, she told me to pull to the window, then at the window she asked if I could pull into curbside pickup spot two so I did. Waited. Waited. Waited. Person beside me go their food, it was wrong, he pulled down his window and asked me if I ordered a four piece which I didn’t. Employee in black clothes comes back out to tell the guy they can’t find his order and that they think they “gave it to some ol bastard”. He goes back in and I wait. Then I see in the mobile app it says it’s bo time and my order is ready. I wait a couple of minutes and decide maybe I should go in since the app says to come in and pick it up. I go in and there’s not a single customer in the restaurant, but there’s five or so employees, one of which is doing the work while the others just stand around. You’d think with how long me and guy in spot one have been there they’d be backed up like a grand opening at a chick fil a but no this is just good ol poor management and not caring. I stand there for a bit while the guy in black is fixing the guy in pickup slot 1s order. As he’s finishing the order he asks me what I’d like to order and I explain I have a mobile order to pick up and I was in slot 2 outside but the app said it’s ready and to come inside to pick it up so that’s why I’m inside now (it’s about 5:50 so I’ve been here almost a half hour). He says that my order isn’t ready because online orders don’t come through right, so he starts to make my order while again the other people are just standing there (except drive through lady who was nice but didn’t seem to know how to do anything because she kept asking black clothes guy what to do). Anyway, as he’s building my order he informs me he doesn’t have enough Mac n cheese to make the large Mac n cheese, just the small one that was ordered with one of the sandwich combos. This is bad because a large Mac n cheese is the only thing my daughter will eat from Bojangles and stupid me I thought they actually had the food on hand that people want to eat at 5:50 on a Friday night but I guess the mac n cheese bandits ate it all. So I ask what can I have to replace it and he says how about some Bo-Berry biscuits and I say sure because I’m ready to get out of this nightmare at this point. Well stupid me they have to heat up the biscuits or something so I get to wait more while the rest of my food now sits in a bag getting cold. He says once the biscuits are done it’ll be good to go and I have to point out I ordered three drinks to go with the food, he fills up two of them because they don’t have any sweet tea made where the customers can fill it so he does it while I fill the third on my own (we all ordered tea but I was like whatever I’ll get lemonade because life sure is giving me a face full of lemons right now). I take another screenshot on my phone while I wait. I finally get all my food and leave right at 6:01 pm, over a half hour after I arrived. Got home and the food was at least accurate (one sandwich was plain while the other wasn’t) but the fries were cold and the tea was so/so. Oddly enough the berry biscuits we got in place of our large mac n cheese was the best part but my daughter still complained she was hungry.
Overall, stay away from this place, there’s plenty of other restaurants nearby, and considering how long you have to wait even when you’re basically the only customer there you could go to a nice sit down restaurant and enjoy life with your family versus being stuck at Bojangles pondering what you did in life to make this nightmare your reality. Either the employees don’t care, aren’t trained properly, or a combination thereof and I’m guessing the ownership also doesn’t care because they are letting it happen and judging by the fact there’s nobody else there I’m guessing it been like...
Read moreUPDATE: well my review as of 11/15 was pretty harsh, and honestly it should have been. That being said I did decide to return today. This time of the year is so busy and my husband and I decided to see if this BoJangles would make good on their offer to replace my meal for no charge. Let me say we were pleasantly surprised! They had no for warning I was coming in. I just showed up and asked for Chip (this was who I spoke with last time). Chip was not there so I explained to the cashier I had an issue with my last meal and was promised a replacement. So he informed the manager who came and spoke with me. He was actually the General Manager his name is Jamie. Jamie had seen my review and he was very very apologetic, and replaced the meal we had last time! He wished he had a way to contact me sooner. He was more than polite and respectful! He replaced our dinner as promised by Chip. I am extremely proud to say we were more than pleased with the dinner we got this time and the coleslaw was included! The gravy and potatoes were creamy and perfect! The chicken and biscuits were perfect as well! And I got the order in just a few minutes. I do believe in redemption and I am more that glad to say, after today yes we will be returning to this BoJangles location again. Thank you Jamie for restoring our faith in your store! ………………………………………………….This is Thursday, 11/15/2024 around 6 pm. We placed our order at the drive through. First they had to do a count to make sure they had enough chicken for my 8 piece family meal. That’s took a moment to find out. I was ready to leave cuz I didn’t want to wait on chicken to cook. She finally came back and told me yes they have the chicken. Great. Finished my order and proceeded to the window. After taking my payment I was told we were waiting on coleslaw to be made. I was asked to pull to the parking area and they would bring my food when it’s ready. We must have waited 20-25 minutes, maybe longer than that. They brought our order and we went home. When we unpacked the meal, we had no coleslaw. So I called immediately (I mean we waited 20-25 minutes for the coleslaw). I spoke with Chip he was very apologetic, took my name and said they would replace our meal next time we were in. Ok I was good with that. Disappointed since we wasted so much time, but ok. So now we are making our plates with chicken., potatoes and gravy. Oh dear lord, the potatoes and gravy were beyond horrible!!! Both were soooo thick and tasted awful! After seeing some of these reviews, I think it’s the management at this location is the problem. Apparently they do not care about putting out a quality product. Just take the money and go. I won’t be eating at this location again I don’t care if it is free. If I had a dog I bet he wouldn’t have eaten it either. STAY AWAY FRIM THIS STORE UNTIL NEW MANAGEMENT IS...
Read moreIf I could have gave a zero star and still be able to comment I Would.. You know i am really amazed at the family meal I had my wife pick us up for Saturday evening family Dinner and I do understand it's not a fine dining place But for $40 I couldn't believe I couldn't even break thru the crust without risking further damage to my mouth so I peeled the metal back to get to the Chicken and it was dryer an tougher than the crust.. So I try mashed potatoes and they'd obviously been prepared by the same chef so I add some of the gravy and it saved the meal right up until I grabbed the Biscuits... It's a Shame the quality of Bojangles has Dipped this low. 1st or 3rd time this has happened wouldn't be as Bad. But $40 and just...
