Waffle House — Restaurant in Jefferson City

I had my first ever Waffle House experience (I’m from Washington State) at the Jefferson City location. The whole working staff at that time was eager to greet me, my boyfriend and his roommate. Our table was then served by Kerrie. If you ever get the privilege of dining at this location, any of the wonderful staff members are a delight, but being served by Kerrie for my first experience was truly a blessing. We got to have some in depth conversation as there was nobody else there, and Kerrie is upbeat, quick-witted, friendly, and just outright an amazing person to be graced with the presence of.

While we waited for our food, we got to talk to Erika as well. Erika is wonderful as well. Sociable, upbeat, and one heck of a conversationalist. We got to talk about Hannah Montana and Boys Like Girls among many other things, and it was overall a delightful, lighthearted conversation.

Next we get to the food. TENS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD. I got the sausage egg and cheese hash brown bowl and a blueberry waffle. The taste, the cooking, the textures. Everything was just amazing. When I’m back in Jefferson City, I absolutely plan on returning and hopefully seeing the wonderful ladies that graced us...

Awful experience. Found hair in my wife's food reported to the waitress about it she took the ticket up removed the cost but left the plate in on the table, which was making my wife ill looking at it there. It took me almost 15 min to finally get the waitress back to the table and when my wife told her she is still hungry the waitress looked at her surprised and asks "so you want the food remade?" My wife responded yes. Then she comes back to the table and asks if we wanted it to go, which at this point we were ready to leave anyway so agreed. Not 5 min passes and she returns to inform us they have no to go lids. Now my wife and i are starting to get extremely aggravated with the whole situation and just tell to use two bottoms for the to go tray. The hair was clearly the cooks and not one time did the cook or manager come over and apologize for the inconvenience.. They did leave the meal off the ticket even after my wife and i had told them we wanted to pay for it. We don't look for free meals like that. If I could rate it a zero star, I would. To start, The atmosphere all around is lacking. It doesn't feel like the classic waffle house feeling. Tables are usually not clean when you walk in and you have to ask staff to clean them. Staff is rude to customers and each other. Sitting on the high bar, they mumble about customer complaints when it's their fault. Waitress didn't wear name badge so I couldn't even get her name because lack of service and introduction. Can visibly see the cook not change gloves when touching meats and then other food like bread or the vegetables. The food is way done before getting to me, as in the cook is done but by the time a waitress gets to it some of it is lukewarm. These are small complaints, here's the kicker: Roaches!!! Sitting at the high bar you can see roaches coming underneath wear the cooks are standing.My family will never come eat here until this place is fumigated. They should take their staff to have a training lesson in almost any other store.This location...
