Subway — Restaurant in Jefferson City

I have gone to this subway for about 6 months regularly now. Good place. I used to only visit subways occasionally because I'm a bit skeptical of restaurants and prefer to prepare my own food at home. However: This store is kept clean, and the service has been good to customers whenever I'm there. No issues with food touching etc that I see at other food prep places. I like places I can see food assembled in front of me, and the staff here do a good job. Friendly staff. They get busy at noon (from all the offices that surround it), so I recommend going before 12pm or after 1pm since it will be a shorter line. Oh, and fresh cookies come out of the oven around 8 or 9am (soooo good!) so I pick some up in the morning, and my co-workers usually grab one for me if they swing by in the mornings too. I work just up the road so this Subway was a great place to come to. However the last two times I have been here the service has left much to be desired!! Last Wednesday night the two kids working were more worried with visiting with there friends than actually waiting on the customer. This visit the kid behind the counter making my salad made a huge mess while making , putting chopped veggies in everyone of the other veggie containers and just looking at his coworkers chuckling about it. I know there young and kids, but seriously I'm afraid you're going to run some customers away based on the staff you currently have at this location. Ordered two footling subs online and my husband picked it up on the way home. We did not get what we ordered as they left off the cheese on rib and steak subs, and the rib meat was completely cold, like they just took it out of the refrigerator and didn’t even try to warm it, cold. Too disgusting to eat. Tried to call for an hour and never got an answer. I did leave a message but had no way to even resolve the issue with sandwiches we paid for. Very disappointed.
