They have been around for a long time. When you go, be patient because it is a popular place and their will most likely be a bit of a line, be patient it moves quickly. The portions are fantastic when you get a large you get a LARGE amount. Bring friends hangout and enjoy the fact that this place has had different owners over the years but still keeps on. The only thing I would say is they need to clean up the weeds and make it look a bit more organized in the drive-thru area. One more important thing if you do go through the drive-thru. After you have ordered, be aware of the support bar that is holding the over hang. It is obvious it was done before the drive-thru was put in. Such a great stop along the B and O rail trail! From the outside it looks nondescript but inside the staff are so friendly, the handwritten menu is inviting, and the choices are delicious. The burgers are fresh made to order and really reasonable (mostly under $5, kids meals only $4). The fries were handmade too but undercooked so soggy not crisp (my only complaint). They have a ton of ice cream choices both soft serve and scooped. Most in our party opted for little soft serve cones which were only around $1. Great bargain, delicious fresh food. Great stop for ice cream and dairy shack food.

We'd visited last week for the first time this summer, and it was crowded outside, so we'd tried the drive-thru option, which we'd never done before.

We were surprised at how quick and efficient they were, as we'd gotten our food faster than half of the "fast food" professional chains do it.

Service was great, very friendly and helpful.

We'd got shredded chicken sandwiches, fries, and peanut butter milkshakes. It was phenomenal. In fact, just writing this is about to make me load up and go get some more!
