Used to visit the Mansfield location. Wasted many, many lunch hours driving to the location only to find a handwritten note on the door providing an excuse as to why they were closed for the day AGAIN. I swore to never eat at a V&M again. A friend in Bellville stated it was under new management and he wanted me to try it with him. Grudgingly I accepted because the special of the day was bean soup and I went to get some for my wife. I ordered two bowls to go. I was later told they ran out and was asked if I wanted chili or vegetable soup instead. Serious? Did I order chili or vegetable soup? Nope. Different owner, same disappointment. I love mom and pop diners and was very...
