Vinny & Son Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant (Lake Hopatcong) — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Absolutely terrible experience at Vinnie’s and Sons Pizza. I ordered a grilled California sandwich with two other people there to confirm the order that were next to me and heard me order and after driving 30 minutes home, I opened the box to find breaded chicken instead. I had to drive another 30 minutes back, only to be told I never ordered grilled chicken in the first place.

They not only refused to take responsibility, but also tried to charge me again for their mistake. I had to argue with them just to get the food I originally paid for. Completely unprofessional and unapologetic staff.

To make matters worse, another part of my order was wrong too. At that point, I realized this place just doesn’t care about accuracy or customer service.

If you’re looking for a quality sub, skip Vinnie’s and go to Jefferson Market instead. I’m never going back. Total waste of time,...

There is a ton of potential with this slice of Pizza, but they need to bring it all together. Once slice all I tasts was the cheese, next slice was all crust and finally slice 3 I got to taste the sauce which was very good. Usually I eat just one slice, so I gave this pizza every opportunity to speak to me..It is a good local slice, we will see where they end up in the Hopatcong Ratings on the Pizza Hunters App. The people here were super friendly and nice. My first visit to Vinny & Son and I wasn’t disappointed. I would characterize the pizza as between NY style and Neapolitan. The crust was thin and nicely cooked; the sauce was very tasty and just the amount I like; the toppings were plentiful and delicious. Service was friendly, efficient, helpful. Kudos to our server. The price was definitely in line for a pizza like this. I would highly recommend going to V&S if you are in the mood for a good pizza.
