Little Angel Burgers and Wings - Jtown — Restaurant in Jeffersontown

Originally we showed up on Labor Day to try the free ice cream Little Angel was offering for the holiday. However, the menu looked and sounded too good to pass up, so we ended up ordering a bunch of food for us to take back home with us, as we had been at a park all day.

First off: Wow.

The owner was amazing. Incredibly welcoming, very relaxed, nice, and above all else, helpful and informative. We had trouble deciding what to try for our first time here, and he gave some very helpful information regarding the menu. He was super friendly to our kids and was just as much as a star as the actual food.

We tried the 'Wings of Glory' burger, kids popcorn chicken, 'Angel's Philly Cheesesteak', 'Angel's Favorite Chicken Sandwich', and the 'Celestial Chicken Melt'. We also got some fries to share amongst the family.

I wish I knew about this place sooner. My Philly was to die for. The cheeseburger was loved. Everyone liked the fries (it was the first thing we all finished). Both chicken sandwiches had great flavor to them. The only complaint was the popcorn chicken tasted like it had little to no seasoning, but for a five year old, that's nothing some ketchup won't fix.

We will be visiting again to try some new items, as we all enjoyed our meals and loved the atmosphere. This place is a glowing beacon in a sea of not-so-great to okay-at-best restaurants and needs to be tried by everyone, whether you're traveling or a resident of the area. Came here with the family, not knowing what to expect. We only knew it was "a hole in the wall" type of place, and it had good reviews online. It was around 5pm or 6pm on a Friday. No one else was eating there, which always takes away from the atmosphere, but the young man working was immediately helpful. I've got to say, this guy was great! Friendly, answered our questions, never showed signs of immpatience. While we were waiting for our food he asked if we'd like to sign the wall, which my kids loved (they have a wall going down one side where customers have almost completely filled up with signatures). The place appeared clean as well. There was a good amount of seating for 2 or for 3, but only one table (if I remember correctly for 4). We were a little disappointed that the kids menu did not have a cheeseburger, but we just ordered one cheeseburger meal for them to split, and it was enough. They even offered to split it up for us onto separate plates. They do not have fountain drinks. I got a bottle of Gold Peak sweet tea and it was very good. I also ordered the Texas Burger with loaded fries (w/ sauce and chicken added). Both were delicious. My wife and kids ordered the Wings of Glory Burger (a classic burger) and regular fries. I can confidently say that the Philly cheesesteak here is the best I’ve ever eaten. The combination of tender steak, melted cheese, and perfectly sautéed onions is nothing short heavnely! Did I mention the food is halal, making it a fantastic choice for everyone looking for delicious and halal options. The service at Little Angels is outstanding as well; the staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring you have a great dining experience.

The only area for improvement I would suggest is the fries—they could use a bit more seasoning to match the incredible flavors of the burgers and cheesesteaks. But honestly, this is a minor detail in an otherwise stellar meal!
