Where do I even begin. It was my last day of spring break…8 hour drive ahead of me. Me and my friends had a great time with even better food. We got Wendy’s mid day on this warm and sunny Sunday. We were still in good spirits at this point with only three more hours to go. Then I went to this Wendy’s and everything changed. I ordered the crispy chicken biggie bag as recommended by my buddy. It sounded like a great deal. I mean a chicken sandwich, fries, a drink, and FOUR nuggets for five dollars what more could I ask for. My buddy even got 5 nuggets. Score! I was now yearning so hard for these nuggs. However while I was ordering I could tell something was off. I was asked if I wanted any sauce, but the lady did not know how to add my sauce to the order. Strange. The manager had to come over to help her. After I pondered this interaction I came to the realization that she must’ve charged me an extra dollar to sauce my nuggs instead of just giving me the sauce packet. This could have been overlooked if the following events had not transpired. When I got to the car I could not believe my eyes. As I had suspected my nuggs were in a container which could only mean they sauced them bad boys. But wait it gets worse. When I looked in the container I only counted one, two, three nuggets. The fourth nugget was no where to be found. Truly devastated by this information I of course had to eat all of my food. I will say the best part of my meal was the napkins they gave me. Trust me I would not go anywhere near this place. I heard the Arby’s across the street now has fish go...
Read moreUpdate: 07/16/2019 Service has drastically improved as has the order accuracy. I will give credit where it's due and I believe the manager is taking steps to improve the overall quality of the restaurant. I will update this thread as needed but I think things are improving and I'll continue to patronize this particular Wendy's over other locations.
Update 06/10/2019 Again tonight was a horrible experience. Something really needs to be done about the night manager. He looks absolutely intoxicated and acts like he has no clue where he is. My food is never right when he's working and the other employees seem embarrassed by his fumbling around. Daytime isn't bad but night shift is horrible. District manager really needs to get rid of this person or they will end up losing a lot of loyal lifetime customers. The positive reviews either have to be from customers during daytime crew which isn't too bad or relatives of the manager. Never in my life have I seen a Wendy's manager who acts like this one.
This particular Wendy's location is a crapshoot. Go in the daytime before the evening crew comes on and your order just might be hot and or correct. Go in the evening and the manager who looks like he's been on a 7 day Jack Daniels bender will give you completely different food than you ordered. Most likely it will also be cold and the fries hard. Definitely go in the daytime if you so choose but go during evening hours at...
Read moreThis Wendys is terrible. Walked in at 9:38pm on 7/31/23. Guy took our order and immediately said "to go". We said "for here". He said he could sell us "to go" orders. He has to start cleaning at 9:30pm and no one is allowed in the dining room. We brought up the fact it says they are open until 11pm. He said no. 10pm and drive thru is until 11pm. Ok. Again. It's 9:38pm and we have to eat our food in the parking lot. I should also add. The guy standing in line behind us decided he would just leave and not order anything because the worker was so rude. We take our food. Walk over to Sheetz across the street and begin to eat on their patio. Open the ghost pepper chicken sandwich I ordered. It's a regular chicken sandwich with mayo. No tomato. No fried onions, no cheese, etc. I would say one of the worst Wendys I have...
