Chicken A-Peel — Restaurant in Jennings

I have been ordering chicken from chicken a-peel for years for my family gatherings. Here recently I recommended their company to a family member and volunteered to pick up for her gathering. The order was placed to be ready at 11:30am. Arrived at 11:45am and it was not ready. I was very surprised at the rude response when questioning why the order was not ready. I was met with "Do you want it or not". Due to it being a family member and her gathering starting soon I went forward with the order. However the chicken was cooked so hard, it did not have the requested seasoning and she was embarrassed to serve at her function. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, and got 2 buns with a "SINGLE SMALL CHICKEN STRIP ON IT." It was the smallest chicken strip they could find. I didnt check my bag, got home and opened it and was disappointed and flat out angry. For the price we paid we couldn't get a regular peace of chicken. Hey guys let me tell you about this place that I frequent visit time and again. Since they changed management the food has gotten better. It seems as the cook pays attention to his unique abilities. The food is fresh than before. It has great texture, taste and aroma. I'm impressed with Chicken A Peel again.
