Java Joltz — Restaurant in Jennings

I didnt have a problem with the fact that I wasn't able to bring in outside food or drinks, I completely understand that and just didn't know of it at the time. What I did have an issue with though, was the way I was informed I wasn't allowed to bring such things in the place. It would have been nice to have been informed or asked nicely to not bring such things in anymore, and not in such a loud manner as such employee did. But, it was not handled in a nice manner nor respectful manner, and instead a rude manner (or how it gave off to me) which led me to become unhappy and irritated.

I completely understand if such worker was having a bad day or just wasn't in a good mood that day, as everyone has those days. But I feel like the situation could have been approached just slightly better...

Great little coffee shop! The espresso is ground, tamped, and pulled by hand with a beautiful machine. The pastries are delicious. I had an ooeygooey bar and a sopapilla cheesecake bar. Both with perfect texture and flavor. We also had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was perfectly cooked with the most amazing buttery flavor and a down home southern cake biscuit texture (if you don't know, you're missing out). The gravy was a good accompaniment to the biscuit. I asked for some hot sauce to go on to and it just made this the perfect breakfast! Been driving for about an hour and to keep my sanity for a seven hour drive I have ahead of me, I needed some coffee in my life. Asked google, it suggested a few options, but I felt the need to come here; even though it was a bit off my route. I’m so glad I did, loved this place.
