North Side Club — Restaurant in Jerome

Such a weird experience from the start. I wanted to have some drinks on a Tuesday to catch up with a friend i hadn't seen in a long while, and thought it would be nice to try this place out. When we arrived, the gals definitely knew we were not regulars. We ordered two AMFs and the gal, who I assume was the owner, gave me the option of a premixed AMF which was cheaper or made by the recipe ATM. I told her a fresh one and she seemed bothered to have to do so. Our presence already felt uncomfortable already and I decided to lightly hit my vape.

She immediately said there was no smoking.

I was so embarrassed and told her I was so sorry & that I didn't know.

She proceeded to tell me "I'll kick your ass out, I don't play with that"

I really didn't understand the need to make the second comment. I had immediately stopped and put it away. The tension in the whole place already was weird as hell from them acting the way they were in front of a couple who seemed to be their friend/regulars, & I was truly sorry! We drank our drinks quickly to get out of there & when I went outside saw the big ol no smoking sign 😆 got rehumbled 😆

It was truly a nonmalicious mistake, but having experiences like that really sours your experience to try new places. This was the first time I had gone to a bar like this that didn't allow smoking. Good to be cultured!

Drinks were good & the place seems fun to play pool and have a fun time...

Visited on a Saturday but not busy at all. Those that were there were simple local folks enjoying a drink and a football game. IMO was totally not a dive but more a local friendly, safe, and clean hang out. I decided to test the bartender instead with a mixed drink. She did not know how but did not hesitate to research and work with me to make it right. Others chimed in for fun and I actually had a nice drink. I fully recommend if you wanted a safe and cool place to socialize and just hang out. Also, I’m not sure about a previous review but 1 large tap beer and a Mixed drink was under $10. Very fair prices compared to many other places I have visited around the world. Don’t second guess, go visit, give them a try and you’ll see...

I was there a couple nights ago and the bartenders were extremely rude and snarky. The one with the tattoos continuously hit on my boyfriend to try to get a tip.
