Burger Tex @ Brittmoore — Restaurant in Jersey Village

If you're hungry and need to go somewhere that isn't too busy for time's sake, this place will do. The burgers are fresh and big, though if you just taste the patty you'll wonder if it was seasoned at all. It is a nice touch that they don't use frozen patties but that fresh beef deserves some seasoning.

The buns are far better than the patties, they're actually pretty good.

Burger toppings are just what you'd set out on the table at home if you were making a quick weeknight burger dinner.

Fries are no different than the frozen crinkle cut ones you might buy at any grocery store.

Nothing about the food really stands out, except maybe the buns. But that's not enough for me to recommend a place. Just enough to keep this from being a 1-star review.

There are 2 far better places to get a great burger just up the street. The only reason I can see coming back here is if I'm pressed for time, since it's slightly closer to my office and also (for good reason) not nearly as busy as those other places.

I'm updating this review just to say one thing: from the very begging of this pandemic these ladies have gone above and beyond to run a tight, clean restaurant. I tip my hat to them. This establishment will ALWAYS get my business.

Pretty good food here. Too pedestrian for my coworker but, I love it. Love. It. Food is fresh and piping hot. And the portions are generous. I stop in when I'm in this part of Houston. And this is one of "my spots" I'll bring a buddy to when we are in Houston. Every single person I've brought here has walked out blown away. The food is very very good and fresh. I tried the fried shrimp and fried rice. Yes very good. I also tried the cheeseburger and fries. The food appears to be made to order. My burger was juicy and the condiment bar was loaded with fresh crisp lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, you name it. They have cheese sauce at the bar. I use it for the fries. All the stars go to the food. I'm totally in to customer service and atmosphere. The ladies at the counter aren't very personable or friendly. I can only assume it's me, because I've been there 3 maybe 4 times and I have witnessed them be friendly to other customers.
