We come here plenty times as a family not sure why today was different. Already feeling a rude vibe from the waitress we did have. Food was great as always and so was Kevin! As a family we have been struggling mentally and financially and finally had a little wiggle room to do something today together granted it broke us but we wanted to have a good time together we have been in a depressed rut.

The waitress who didn’t even service us just brought 2 plates to the table to help out walked out to me getting my son into the car. Now I threw in my last $30 to help pay for this tab and she asks in a negative way why I left a $1 tip. It wasn’t me it was my mom again like I said before we always go there and my mom even said “this is the first time I don’t have anything to tip I feel so bad” and felt so bad even just leaving the dollar. All to be followed out by again the woman who did not even service us. And made a reminder that it was on a “$77 tab” many times she said it and I had to show proof I’m negative in my account for her to switch up to “I just wasn’t sure if the service was good or not”

Any other time the service is so amazing and the atmosphere and I have no clue what today was about but I really didn’t like that approach at all.

To add: wanted to come back again so bad because it’s been a long time since my family and I have been here we would do this often together she even said “yes I know you guys always come here” so why would she approach...

Had my first breakfast experience at the Jessup Corner Kitchen and I guarantee it will not be my last. I was greeted promptly by an incredibly friendly staff for my counter dining experience. I ordered the Sausage Gravy over biscuits with scrambled eggs. It was wonderful. The eggs were so light & fluffy and the biscuits & gravy were some of the best I’ve ever had. I literally was scooping up gravy to clean my plate. Before, during & after I was done, the owner/cook, checked up on me and asked how I was enjoying my meal. This is my favorite breakfast/lunch place. It’s Jessup’s hidden gem! The service is the best I’ve ever had, quick and always with a smile. I have never had a bad meal here, but the eggs, hash browns and sausage are my go to breakfast. The breakfast sausage here is like no other, boiled, then browned and a meal all on its own. The owner really puts time and love into his menu and cooking, it really shows in every meal. The kindness and attentiveness of the waitresses really makes the whole experience complete and starts your day off the way it should every morning, with a happy belly and a light heart!
