Wah Mei (Jessup) — Restaurant in Jessup

Been eating the general tso chicken for 2 decades. Last few years you can clearly tell something is different. Little sauce given and if you ask for extra the taste is not even close to what I grew up loving. Then to get a dinky container of rice on the side is absolutely sad. Keep telling myself this is my last order then months later I get my hopes up to have them shot down again.

Other menu items are great per my family. But the only Chinese dish I enjoy has made my decision to find alternative types of food when I crave this.

Will likely continue to order for the family but never for just myself again.

Ordered "spicy" food. Tasted extremely sweet. May as well have ordered a blueberry smoothie with vegetables & shirmp in it. Terrible. Then I called to complain, well they said that's their average spicy. I politely requested to return the food and get their shrimp fried rice instead. They said the kitchen is closed. Wow has this place far fell. Everything we ordered was absolutely disgusting. Chicken on a stick since they no longer have beef, general sou’s tasted worse than freezer bagged Chinese and the lo mein was wet flavorless noodles, don’t even let me get started on the pork fried rice.

They need to change the name of this place because they absolutely destroyed the BEST Chinese restaurant...
