La Pachanga Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Joachim Township

I wont ever visit this location again. I have been here about 4 times in total, and every time they have made some error. I came with a group and they added several items to our bill, then tried to argue we drank too much so we wouldnt know. I was drinking water! Another time, they brought almost everyone at the table (of 5) the wrong order, then refused to take it back to fix. When we tried to leave they threatened to call police for us not wanting to pay for meals we hadn't ordered. Went for a drink with a friend, had chips and salsa, and ordered A SMALL margarita, they bring me a large... I let her know I only wanted a small, she said its OK we only charge you a small. I get my bill, for a large. They refused to change it because she said, well, you drank it so you accepted it. I left enough money to pay for a small. Final straw, I went almost a year later, with a friend for dinner. I order a daiquiri (with alcohol) and it comes virgin. When I said something the waiter smiled and said, "oh, I didnt understand." I ordered dinner, which was just a quesadilla. We get the bill, and they added a charge for a shot of rum (never got one), and a bowl of chorizo queso dip(that we didnt order) adding up to an extra $13! I showed the cashier, and she sent the waiter to our table to come CHECK to make sure we weren't lying! His words were "I brought you cheese dip, where did you put the bowl" WOW.... just wow.... I have also heard several other reviews like mine. Please dont fall victim to this terrible place. I do not...

Ate lunch here today, four adults and two kids. The service was a bit slow but the food was fine. Three adults, including myself, and one child, ate half of our meals. The server brought out styrofoam to-go boxes. The box for the child's food wouldn't stay closed, so we finally just took their food out and put it in a box with their mom's food. In doing so, noticed several small dead bugs stuck to the inside of the box. We then looked closer at each of our boxes and they ALL had multiple dead bugs on the inside and outside. They were like tiny flies, with their legs and wings visible. We showed our server who said "oh I don't know. I'm sorry?", shrugged, and actually asked if we wanted another box. We requested a manager, who came over, also said she didn't know (what does this even mean..) and that she'd go check the kitchen. She came back holding a stack of boxes, offered them to us, and said it was just our four boxes that had bugs. The fact that they thought transfering food from a bug filled box, which means the food itself likely also had dead bugs on it, into a new box would fix the problem is horrifying. There was no offer of taking half off of the food that was now ruined, making new food, nor any other solution beyond moving the food to new boxes. Also no sincere apology for bringing us boxes that had dead bugs in and on them, other than said as an afterthought with a shoulder shrug. Gave us the full bill and we paid and went on our way, but will definitely not...

We attempted to have a nice family dinner here and awful doesn’t begin to describe the service, the food and how we were treated! AWFUL took us 15 minutes to get waited on...4 out of 5 of us ordered Nachos Pachanga! One of us ordered them with only cheese and lettuce and when it came out with peppers and onions the waiter tried arguing that he was not going to correct their mistake! The menu CLEARLY states and we clarified with our waiter that both queso and shredded cheese was used! The food took awhile and when we got the nachos they were dry as a bone NO QUESO makes for dry nachos! The steak was burnt! When we asked for the queso for the nachos they said we could buy queso if we wanted it! When you are paying $13 for nachos you shouldn’t have to buy queso!!!! They refused to bring queso to us without charging us! How do you charge extra for something that comes on there already!? Awful and rude customer service! We just wanted queso for nachos...simple fix! The manager wasn’t there and whoever we talked to threatened to call police if we didn’t pay for our HORRIBLE meal! Maybe they should serve people their order correctly!!!! I mean they made the menu, they should be able to cook and serve the items as explained in the menu! Never will support this chain of restaurants again...EVER! Hope the New Mexican restaurant in Pevely is amazing and puts LaPachanga out...
