Overall a very good experience dining at the erstwhile Baitong and now Thai Squared. The Tom Kha/coconut soup was very flavorful and tasted great. However I did not care for the chicken pieces. Spouse had better experience with her veggie Tom Kha. The Larb was good too but it did not come with the additional lettuce to wrap with. Perhaps it was to be consumed some other way than wrapped with lettuce. Cashew chicken and my green curry were pretty good too. Absolutely nothing wrong with anything here but in the interest of reasonable rating am not rating all 5 stars. Not 5 stars but pretty solid 4s. I believe 5 stars need to be reserved for truly outstanding reviews.

This modern Thai restaurant truly impressed me! It strikes the perfect balance between authenticity and a clean, contemporary vibe. Every dish was packed with bold, traditional flavors, but what really stood out was the quality of the ingredients—everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I love that they don’t use any MSG. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. It’s clear that they put real care into every plate, from the flavor to the presentation. Whether you’re a Thai food lover or just looking for something satisfying and healthy, this spot is definitely worth checking out. I’ll absolutely be back!

We recently tried lunch at Thai Squared in Johns Creek and were thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, with standout dishes that made the experience memorable. The coconut soup was a perfect start—rich, aromatic, and incredibly comforting. We also loved the drunken noodles, which had the right amount of heat and flavor, cooked to perfection. But the surprise favorite was the crispy chicken cashew—crispy yet tender, with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. The portions were generous, and the service was warm and attentive. Definitely a place we’ll return to when we’re craving Thai food. Highly recommended!

would give them 0 star if I can. We came in on Aug 4, 2018. We waited 20 minutes for the server to take our order. We finally put the order in but the food took forever to come out. We were upset but thought things happen, maybe they are short handed or so. Anyway, I ordered Earth, wind, and fire (shrimp and chicken), I asked for level 2 on the spiciness, so basically mild. The food arrived and my dish was very spicy, hot spicy, maybe the highest you can get... I ate it because I was hungry. Then I found a hair in the food. I called the server, he brought in a lady who apologized and offered to prepare another less spicy dish. I didn't take the offer because I wasn't going to be home for the next few days so I asked for a credit for the next visit or simply to remove the dish from the check. She said she couldn't do that because the manager wasn't there. She took my name and agreed to give us the same dish at no charge for the next visit. I was fine at that time. Now this is where I lost it, we asked for the check and for to go boxes, again it took at least 10 minutes+ for that to arrive. At that time were there for almost an hour and half and the kids were tired. The check arrived and they had the guts to include a 20% gratuity!!!!! $18 of tip for all this trouble??? I was so upset and called the waitress back, pointed to the tip and she said: You have a party of five and we charge for five people and up. We were 3 adults, a kid, and an infant who didn't even order a main course. I couldn't believe what had just happened. We paid and left, I told her that we will never come back again.

I will complain to the better business bureau, I will not let this go and fight it. This is beyond terrible service, it is unacceptable to treat...

I had driven by this restaurant many times, but was waiting for the right opportunity to try it. Finally, yesterday, I did (with another friend who loves Thai food). To call the experience disappointing is an understatement. While the decor is quite nice, the fact no one was dining in at 5:00 should have told us something. We were both very excited about the menu, a literal hard-bound book with beautiful photos of the food. That was literally everything good I can say about the food- it photographs well! If I had been blindfolded, I would have sworn I was eating at Piccadilly Cafeteria on the night the made “Asian” food, except theirs would have tasted better than T2. It was like they saw the two of us, decided we appeared too “white” and took every ounce of spice or seasoning out of our food. I would not know it was Thai or even Asian food had someone randomly given me the dish. Literally zero flavor. No salt. No Thai spices. Nothing!! I had cashew chicken (I’m on a specific diet), and my friend had Drunken noodles with shrimp. Hers was the same- no flavor! Seriously- going to Panda Express would have been better, and a LOT less pricey. Oh- the spring rolls were definitely pre-made, as in bought in bulk. Before we left, one other table came in. We wanted to warn them, but didn’t go that far. Never again! I do, though, highly recommend Royal Thai in John’s Creek! Excellent food and even better service. ...

As much as my family and I enjoy the food and the reasonable price - this last experience left a severe bad taste in mouth (figuratively). My family picked me up from the airport late in the evening, and arrived at Bai Tong around 900. Their sign clearly states that they close at 930PM. We were greeted by an older gentleman who we confirmed to ensure we were okay to dine in, given the time. We frequent this restaurant, so we knew exactly what we wanted to get. As we entered the restaurant a young man seated us who made sure that knew the kitchen was closing at 915PM. Since we knew what we wanted - I told him that we are ready to order - he said the server will get to you - and made it apparent that it is beyond him to take our order. It was the attitude you want to capture in a video to show exactly what customer service is NOT. I was exhausted after my trip, and decided to just grumble with my family - I did not confront this rude individual. I figured - first, I will never go back to that restaurant AND I will make sure that I advise all social media out there of how they treat their customers. This young man's lack of customer focus and severely rude attitude has lost a loyal customer, and hopefully other may heed before going to this establishment. I pay my hard working dollars to just not get food - but to be treated courteously. This restaurant may have good food - but this man's...
