writing this while staying here. of course while i had to stay for 4 days some idiotic college kids had to come and stay outside of the room me my mom and sis are staying in. they talk and act like crackheads by literally screaming and even singing songs outside of the hotel right for the other innocent guests to literally listen to. this made my mom mad other the 4 days so she called the front desk every day to make sure they shut up. eventually those idiotic college kids shutted up and went to bed along with me and my mom and sis. as of posting the review it's the last night staying and this night was beyond worse than the past nights. since this was the night of those idiotic college kids deciding to all sing songs in the back of the hotel. of course it kept the three of us up and my mom called the front desk hoping for the staff to end all of this but they kept on singing so my mom called a second time and the staff did nothing because the kids were singing christian songs. i'm christian but they were still being very obnoxious and it got to the point where my mom was literally threatening to call the police on the kids. eventually the staff shutted them up and it ended!!!! the kids still continued to be absolute rock-brained people and did their idiotic dumb college kid shenanigans. now the three of us are awake as of writing this review and our flight is leaving tomorrow and that is going to be fun as yall can tell. since of those 4 days we have been sleeping in late cuz of the incidents and the maids do housekeeping when we're still recovering sleep. the maids are annoying with all of them being just as loud as those idiotic college kids and one of them sings on the top of their lungs which is pure annoyance. one more thing before i'm gone while i took a shower i accidently kicked off the shower drain cap it still drains though but it's the good ol' hotel's fault for poor maintenance with the shower being dirty with mold. so horrible staff, annoying maids, and bad showers, i call that the worse hotel stay ever. DO NOT COME HERE EVER!!!! i hope those idiotic college kids grow up, the staff becomes more actually care about all of the guests vibe, the hotel fixes the shower situation, and the maids turn less annoying. edit: i just realized by now i forgot one detail. while my mom was calling the staff the second time, the staff yelled at my mom and was completely rude. luckily i'm out of that hotel owned by the devil himself and when my mom was returning the key to the hotel, a lady asked how our stay was. my mom said it was horrible and it just sucked. the lady asked what happened and my mom told her all the amazing stuff that happened. somehow my mom was able to tell from the staff who yelled at her and she told the lady. the lady completely agreed all of what my mom complained at. the lady grabbed a paper and made my mom sign it, and she was going to report it to the manager. i'm happy the lady is on our side and i hope who ever yelled at my...
Read moreI recently stayed at this property for three nights as part of a large group of people. We had reserved one of the suites with two queen beds and a fold-out couch. The day prior to arriving, I called the hotel to confirm they had the reservation and that they had the correct number of people in our party. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and confirmed all of the details. I asked her to please have additional towels put in the room due to the number of people, and told her that we'd be a late arrival. She stated she would make a note of that in the system and that they would go ahead and fold out the couch bed and put on the linens so it was ready when we arrived.
We finally made it to the hotel around 11:00pm. The gentleman at the front desk, while polite, stated that we would have to put the linens on the fold-out bed ourselves. He then proceeded to hand me a giant white garbage bag that he said were the linens. During the check-in, there was no mention or acknowledgement of being an IHG Rewards member, other than the standard key folder with your point balance. Once we got upstairs to the room, we emptied the bag and got the couch bed ready. We quickly realized that they hadn't put the extra towels in the bathroom as promised. We went back downstairs and got the additional towels we needed.
During the stay, we left the "do not disturb" sign on the door, so I can't speak to the quality of the housekeeping during the stay. The breakfast each morning, while limited, was always delicious and promptly ready and available. The area near the hotel has plenty of dining options, and we spent very little time in the actual room. The couch bed was okay for a single night's sleep, but after three, some of our backs were hurting. The regular beds were quite comfortable.
Overall, I would recommend this property positively to anyone in the area that is traveling through and needs a nice, clean, comfortable...
Read moreI rolled in to Atalanta from a very snowy and white knuckle flight from New York. Looking forward to sleeping after a long day. My gold status usual puts me in good rooms. Well... Not at this hotel. Nope... If your gold status at this hotel you get put next to the elevator. I really didn't even think about where my room was - I just wanted to sleep. As I had a really important meeting the next day. It wasn't long after i fell asleep that the very loud elevator woke me up. It kept me up all night long. I was a mess the next day. I asked the front desk if I could be move. Was told "no hotel is sold out". So I went to work and got a call from the front desk.. SURPRISE!!! They had a suite for me. The catch was I had to go back to the hotel to move my stuff. I said "I couldn't because of the meeting" and I would just stay in that room. My plan was to get earplugs. So there I am in my meeting and my phone was going off over and over again as house keeping kept attempting to call and ask if they could move my stuff. i asked them to stop... Got another call... And called the front desk and got pretty mad. I had one of the WORST Holiday Inn experiences of my life in Miami at New Years. If I had another choice in hotels - I'd would've done it. Now that I know the area better I most certainly will after this sleepless experience. And if I have to stay at another one of your hotels - I will empty my rewards points on ANYTHING other than more nights... Which I have...
