Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Johnson City

This past sunday we came in for dinner. My dad is anaphylactic whenever he eats spinach. He asked the server, Kane, and mentioned the allergy to the server. We were assured that there was no spinach in the salad. Upon eating the salad my dad begins to have a reaction. Come to find out there was actually spinach in the salad. When we asked the waiter to check again it turns out they changed the salad mix weeks ago and did not remember. Upon receiving the check they only took off the salad. Our emergency room bill was over $300 so taking a $5 side salad off was an insult. As someone who has worked as a server at various restaurants, this should not be allowed to happen. Knowing my dad had a severe allergy to spinach, the server, Kane should have actually checked to make sure there was no spinach in the salad instead of assuming. Very disappointed in the service at Beef o' Bradys. The only time we have great service is when Matt is there and he has not been there the past few times we have...

Usually have a good experience. Tonight was not one of them. Sat at the bar and ordered a chicken quesadilla. It literally came out of the kitchen black from being burnt. I could smell the burnt the second the waitress put it in front of me. When the bar tender asked if I wanted it remade and I said no, she threw it in the trash and walked off. Didn't really seem to care. When I asked if anyone is in the kitchen looking at the food before it comes out I got attitude. As if I was trying to blame someone. That's not the case. Didn't need to find someone to blame. The cook killed it. I asked a simple question about the quality control in the kitchen. There is none. After the bartender came back I was told no one looks at the food before it comes out except whoever brings it. At no time did a manager get involved. I had to lower my rating. Last time we were there we were with a disabled family member (mother in-law) and the front of the house staff weren't very accommodating, in fact they were completely rude and acted annoyed that they could possibly need to go out of their way to do anything. We ended up sitting in the overly crowed backroom area, with our family member pressed tightly against the table so that she wouldn't be bumped into by, or bump into another customer she was uncomfortable! There were other open tables with room for us, however the staff insisted that we sit there and were pretty nasty about the fact that it was going to happen. I have enjoyed the place before this when we have went and my mother in-law wasn't with us, but after seeing the way that they treated her and us that evening. I won't be going back, which is not like us, when football season comes around...
