11/10/2023 The service was outstanding, the food was delicious. They were very busy when we arrived, they still got to us promptly. Only waited about 15 minutes for our order. I had the Pollock with fries and coleslaw. The slaw is a vinegar base just like my grandmother use to make, delicious..The order came with hush puppies. A hidden gem we just recently found out about. They will definitely be seeing more of us. We have had breakfast there also, I did not get any photos. The biscuits and gravy are amazing.

A local gas station attendant recommended this cafe as we passed through town and asked if McDonald's had indoor seating. Boy are we glad we took her word for it! Great, down home country breakfast that reminded me of my late mother's cooking! Very friendly and welcoming staff for these out of towners! If we ever come back through we will definitely stop in again! We could have even had a meet & greet with the mayor and had pie if we had more time! Small town business at its best!

We had a wonderful Valentines Day dinner at Andresen's Cafe tonight. They was playing romantic music and had candle light and roses. They had a 12oz steak cooked to perfection, baked potatoe, salad and a hugh piece of red velvet cake and your choice of drink, including sparkling cider. (YUM)My complements to the owner and the chef Kent McPheron and all the waitress's and all the helpers in the kitchen that made this special night possible. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Man, what a gem! My girlfriend and I were out looking for somewhere local to eat instead of fast food. We drove past and saw the open sign and called in an order. She got a regular cheese burger and I the Bacon Burger, she had regular fries and I had had fried pickles. All of it was great. When I walked in to get my food to go they let me sample the fried chicken and chicken and dumplings. The chicken was great, perfectly cooked, not too greasy and very moist. But the chicken and dumplings were simply amazing. I legitimately had not had chicken and dumplings that good since my grandma made them in my youth. We also got a slice of the apple pie, oreo pie and peach cobbler to try. Once again amazing. The lady running the counter was courteous and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy, can't wait till I can come sit down and try all their specials. 5 out 5, you have to try...

First visit here. I was told by a few people that they make some delicious fried potatoes & onions. Unfortunately we went on a Sunday and they don’t offer them on Sunday. Got there at 10:45 and was told, no more breakfast available. Not a good start being 0 for 2. I tried the fried chicken, which was average. The pie is good. My wife had the homemade dumplings which she said were excellent. Might try them again sometime, but was bummed after driving almost an hour to have breakfast with potatoes & onions and couldn’t have either one. They might want to specify those limitations on their menu and...

This little gem in the historic township highschool building was well worth the drive. The aesthetics were pleasing and they even had pictures on the walls of the graduating classes from the old high school, along with a model of the old firehouse. We were greeted by friendly staff, who continued to make us feel welcome and explained the menu. The prices were unbelievably inexpensive, but the quality of the food was outstanding. I got the big boy breakfast with a side of bacon and my wife had french toast. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Very...
