Green Acres Cafe RI breakfast and Brunch — Restaurant in Johnston

This place used to be one of the best breakfast places, but now food quality overall has declined. I used to love coming here. I have been coming to this place for about 8 years, and I dont think I will come back after today. It has not been the same but I was trying to give more chances to the place, but this was definitely the last one.Today we found a hair in two of our plates, and it happens but what matters is how is handled…. We told the waitress, and she went to tell the cook, who I believe is now the owner. Waitress is very nice she knows me because she knows I have been coming sinche the previous owner. She came back saying that she was told that he would send another fries instead of remaking the plate. Its disgusting to find a hair in your food it makes you lose your appetite, and its comon sense that when something like that happens food should be remake, and old food should be discarded. We also order oreo pancakes 0-10 they had a bunch of cream, and oreo crumbs on it, but pancakes were dry and with no oreo in it. Home fries are not the same. We order a mix pupusa that was more tortilla than meat. The owner didn’t even bother to come an apologize he was just looking from far. My advice take care of your costumers, make them happy! So the first review I left, above, is still accurate, but only if you have one of the two servers. When we have the older of the 2 the servers, conversation and experience are incredible. On the other hand, when we have the younger of the 2 it is horrible. For example, today she went to place our waters and straws on the table while taking our order and dug through her hair to find a pen then got the straws. Then multiple times clearing plates from dirty tables and not washing her hands before grabbing new silverware or plates. Again, cash handling and no washing hands and then handling clean silverware or other guests drinks. Then on the service aspect, she never came to the table after taking our order until we were completely finished with both our meals and both our waters were empty.

If you are lucky enough to have the older of the 2 servers you will have a great and memorable experience. If you are unlucky enough to have the other server, good luck, and pay attention to the things mentioned above, or do what I will do next time and only ask for the server I like or...

I order from here because it is close but every time there is always something missing. The hash was burnt and seemed old, the eggs always seems to have pieces of the shells. I can’t count how many times I’ve lost money and always give the benefit of the doubt. It’s not the same as it was. You guys really need to watch the food. I’m sorry just can’t order anymore

Today I ordered seeing that it’s been a while and has them repeat my order and it still was messed up ordered a cheese omelette, and inside the cheese omelette was the bacon and the corn beef hash, which was supposed to be on the side Missing the side of bacon that was supposed to go with another breakfast order sausage even appear to be cooked all that well and still was charged a lot of money for three breakfast is which was supposed to have a credit they were supposed to give me from the last messed up order. I also let the girl know about my experience the last time and I asked to please check the order. So now I am deft not ordering...
