Cakd by Tae — Restaurant in Jonesboro

I was in need of a customized bachelorette cake for my Line Sister as a surprise. I bought several items (pound cake cupcake, cheese cake, red velvet cupcakes) to test out the flavors and everything TASTE SOOO GOOD!!! The desserts were a 10/10. HOWEVER, when it came down to customer service with handling my cake order, I would rate it -2/10💯

I told the woman at the register my vision for the cake and showed a her picture as an idea. The owner came to the front to greet me and said yes he could do it and that it wasn’t hard to make. The bachelorette party was 3 weeks away which he said was plenty of time for them since their rule is to let them know at least two weeks ahead of time. The owner asked me to fill out this form along with the picture and that someone should reach out in a couple of days. I followed his instructions and four days goes by without receiving a response from the establishment. I go back in the store in person not only to purchase more items but also to remind the owner about contacting me about my cake order. He said he would reach out tomorrow. NEVER heard from him or his staff. A couple days go by and I called the store and the woman on the phone said they received my cake order, apologized for the delay and said someone would reach out to me in a few days…… DO YOU THINK THEY DID?!??? NO! I had no other choice but to go somewhere else. They definitely need to do WAY BETTER with their organizational skills! If you need a customized cake or cupcakes from them, then I would suggest you go somewhere else💯 Their desserts are great but their customer service was trash dealing with...

After reading the glowing reviews of this bakery, I decided to try it out for myself. I came into the bakery and was not greeted by the owner. I thought it was a bit rude because I was there only customer but I thought to myself maybe he was busy. A young lady came to the front and helped me out. They were out of a lot of items I wanted to try so I just got banana pudding. It was pretty good.

I decided to try them again. I came into the bakery and the owner stuck his head out from the back but once again did NOT speak or welcome me as a customer. They were out of a lot again but I got a cookie instead. The cookie was almost burnt and not very good. I never got a chance to taste any cakes. There were a few cupcakes but were very small and didn't look good.

If you want your business to grow...you have to have good customer skills. Welcome your customers and show them that you appreciate them and it will help your business to flourish. Best of luck to the young man but I...

My family and I have been visiting Cak’d by Tae FAITHFUL over the past 2 months. Our favorite days to visit are the ones when they’re opened (Tue - Sat)! It’s a judgement-free dessert zone and we’re here for it.

We’re ALWAYS warmly greeted by the owner or one of his associates which makes all the difference in where we spend our money.

The shop is clean, inviting, and filled with multiple sweet options (gotta get there before the crowds buy it up). We’ve tried almost every menu item, but the cheesecake slices are our favorite…. Strawberry Crunch, Key Lime, Big Back Brownie, and the star… Banana Pudding (specialty item). Never had an item we didn’t enjoy.

It’s evident that each treat was baked with love and we pray that this booming establishment remains in our community for many years to come.
