It is now my personal mission to keep this place in business lol! Staff was so friendly and polite and even held the door for us. The atmosphere is awesome! Bright, colorful, smelled amazing, heat was on and comfy, and they have a meat counter full of delicious looking fresh meat selections! We ordered to go but they let us sit down to look over the HUGE menu. They have everything! I started off with something "simple" to get a feel for the place so I chose the street tacos. It comes with five of them and the tortillas definitely taste homemade. Came with three sauces, cilantro, limes, onions, etc as you'd expect. But it also came with a cute little portion of soup. I don't know what kind (they had many) but both my nine year old and I loved it! I also ordered a side of elote (Mexican corn) and they let me choose crushed Doritos or crushed Cheetos on top. YUM! My son ordered one of the adult hamburger meals because I didn't see the kids meal (it's on the back)but I'm glad he did! It had a patty, two types of cheese, sauteed mushrooms, ham, avocado, etc etc. He did get it without the lettuce and tomato and onion. He LOVED it and it was huge so we definitely have leftovers for tomorrow. We both agreed this place is awesome and we will be going back. Can't wait to walk down there this summer and eat outside at the picnic tables. For the amount of food you get and the quality, the prices were great. Can't wait to dig deeper into the menu! Try this place. You will not be disappointed. **Edited to add that I figured out it was beans and not soup with my tacos but they had meat and delicious broth so either way, I'm sold!

Stopped by this Mexican restaurant for lunch and was glad that I did. They have a pretty extensive menu and a lot of items to choose from. I ordered the street tacos and got one pollo (chicken), one asada (steak), one tripa (tripe), and two chorizo (sausage) tacos. The tripa were my favorite. They were served with customary onions, cilantro, lime and sauces. They were very good and the five tacos served with the order were more than enough. They did not serve me chips and salsa before the meal and instead they gave me a bowl of sopa coditos (macaroni soup) and it was good and I actually preferred it to the usual chips and salsa. The staff that waited on me were friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean, organized, and pretty spacious. In addition to the restaurant portion of the venue, they also have a carnicería (butcher shop) onsite. I did not order anything from it but it looked to have a nice selection of meats during my visit. Overall good visit and I would go here again.

The food is good, the noodle dish the waitress brought out at first was very good. The refried beans and guacamole were okay. My taco salad was good and fresh. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The prices are comparable to other restaurants like it.

What a wonderful local restaurant. It has inside and outside eating. Very clean and smelled amazing. Very wide array of meat options in each of chicken, beef, pork, and seafood categories.

Tried for first time today. Was greeted warmly. I got the 4 taco special on flour shell. Came with typical sides. And chips. They don't skimp on the filling either. I also had the pineapple cucumber drink and it was very refreshing.

If you want taco bell go across town because La Fogata is as...
