Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Jonesboro

I order Sonic often, as in multiple times per week. I usually have good experiences- great food, & service, which is why I order there often. However, I had an experience recently that was so bad, that I'm not sure that I will ever return. I had ordered 3 shakes, and a diet Coke. I had my young son, and 2 of his friends with me. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I suddenly became very impatient, at which time I mentioned the time frame in the car. My son said '' I see our milkshakes at the car next to us'. I realized at that time that I had been hearing someone talking profusely, very dramaticly for....about 15 minutes, and yes, it was our milkshakes, and our waitress had been standing at the car next to us 'chatting' with a friend for at least 15 minutes in about 100 degree weather, with our shakes. I looked over at her, at which time she raised her pointer finger at me, and said "Just one minute". I had already paid for our order through the kiosk, however became so upset that I told her "no, nevermind, enjoy the shakes, and soda, but by all means carry on your conversation with your friend, as that's far more important', and I drove away before I got super angry in front of my son, and his friends. That order cost me close to $20.00, but expressing my anger would have caused a much larger problem, so I decided that just getting away from the ridiculousness was the best for everyone involved. Yes, I was angry at the server that obviously had no business taking up that position, but I was also angry at their management for allowing it to happen. It was right in front of the employee area, and I was equally upset that no other employee that was running in and out felt that it needed to be brought to the supervisors attention. I have overlooked wrong orders, slow orders, and even employees that were not very nice, but I will not overlook what happened that day. If Sonic is going to allow employees such as her (horrible server, but I would definitely NOT want someone like her preparing or touching my food), there are other places to go, and as of now, I choose to go to them. Known if her machine was. Working or not. .. It was a big hassle.. very unprofessional n. It's. The only. Sonic. In the area but I sure would not recommend going there unless u r. Paying w cash because they. Do. Nothing .. or if u r. Orders. Not. Right. .. anything well u just. Lost u r money .. I would go to. Different sonic...

EVRR GOIN BACK! Worse experience ever screwed my order up 3X took it all back all 3X threw my receipt away after they took it from me 2 check the order then procede 2 tell me my drink wasn't rung up and I know it was cuz it was the first thing that was rung up then made me pay 4 the drink and didn't have my receipt cuz they threw it away after they checked it inside! After the 3rd time of fixing my order they finally did bring me out the drink they reused 2 check the screen and print off mY original receipt which would have proved I did pay 4 my drink!
