Went into Larry's for a bite and my boy, Cornnugget was like, I want the wings, because the last time he ate buffet pizza he called dinosaurs for like three days. I'm like whatever dude, it's your dime. We were promptly seated, and by promptly I mean we paid for our food, fixed our own drink and found ourselves a seat near the kitchen. I was looking over the menu and decided to tell the server that I wanted the Buffalo Chicken pizza, which just happens to be my go to pizza. She nodded and scurried off to the kitchen. We waited patiently as three different waiters tried to peddle their, baked potato, BBQ chicken, and macaroni and cheese pizza onto our plates. Eventually I got my pizza and promptly said as I always do, "Alright Frankie, just one bite, you all know the rules". As my teeth cut through the crust, I knew immediately that this pizza was missing something, apparently they held the Buffalo on the Buffalo chicken. Cornnugget got his wings that were covered in a baby poop yellow sauce, that they claimed was honey BBQ. Apparently, it was a mixture of BBQ and Honey Mustard. The mix did not do Cornnugget any favors as he rushed to the restroom like Barry Sanders. But all in all the experience was rememberable. Cornnugget swore he will never be back, but I'll give it another whirl, because everyone enjoys...
Read moreLarry's Pizza is not Larry's Pizza anymore. Larry's was the home of the pizza parade and buffet. That is what made them unique. Having family visiting from out of state, we decided on having Larry's for dinner, as they had enjoyed the experience in years past. Much to our dismay, the old location was closed and moved to this Aggie Rd location. The parking is nonexistent. The building itself is a modern art nightmare of architectural bastardization, cramming other businesses into the same space as Larry's. Larry's used to offer a casual, family-friendly sort of environment. But no more. Now it is an uninviting, ultra-modern space more akin to a place one would patronize to purchase $50 lattes in the year 2200. And worst of all, the one thing that made Larry's a hit, the buffet and pizza parade, is no longer a thing. This place has no legitimate reason to continue using the name Larry's Pizza. If you have been a fan of the restaurant in the past, hopefully my review might save you the same wasted trip we made. It is very disappointing to see a business spit in the faces of the customers who made it a success just to try to attract a newer, trendier customer base. As for me and my family and associates, we will never visit this...
Read moreSurprisingly good, inexpensive, and fast. Best deep dish style pizza in town. I'll definitely be coming back. I didn't take a picture, my phone didn't work for my google account at the time. I didn't like Larry's Pizza back in the day, but it's pretty different now.
Staff was named, Issa? or Isha? Totally irreplaceable kind of worker. She was running the whole thing like a boss, and in a good mood doing it, and did an amazing job as well. Pretty sure she has magic powers and knows everything or something. For real... Don't fire that person.
Food was really good, employee kept it real/was helpful, price was more than fair. 5/5. (also a really good location to wait for DoorDash,...
