Monarca's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Jonesboro

My family and I love Monarca's Mexican Restaurant, the food is always great , we have never been disappointed. The Service is awesome they are always so nice to me and when I have the baby with us and I order takeout they always carry my food to the car for me the lady who works at the register I don't know her name but she is absolutely wonderful I would give them a 5 ⭐ all day long. We wanted to try a new (to us) Mexican restaurant and found Monarca's. It's located in a fairly nondescript shopping center off the highway, but don't let the exterior fool you. They've got some incredible dishes. I don't remember the name of the dish but it was ribs with verde sauce. The only difficulty I had was getting the rib meat off the bone in order to put it on my tortillas. I wound up eating the ribs and having the tortilla on the side. Would definitely still order again. And don't forget a visit to the candy...

Only complaint I would have is about the service. We only saw our waitress for our order and our check. Had to ask someone else for a refill. The food was flavorful. Prices are the same as everywhere else. It is a smaller restaurant, so just a heads up there’s not a lot of tables and no waiting area. We were served our food about 15 minutes after ordering, so not a long wait. Will definitely try again. Recommend...
