Surprisingly Delicious Pizza at the pilot Petrol Station
I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem while on a road trip - the pizza at the petrol station! I must admit, my expectations were low at first, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the pizza I ordered.
First and foremost, the crust was fantastic. It had the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and it was surprisingly flavorful. The crust alone convinced me that this pizza was something special.
Moving on to the toppings, they were generous and fresh. The sauce had a delightful tanginess that complemented the cheese and other ingredients perfectly. Speaking of cheese, it was gooey and melted just the right amount, creating a delightful stretch with every bite. The vegetables were crisp and bursting with flavour. Each ingredient seemed to be carefully chosen to ensure a mouthwatering pizza experience.
The pizza was prepared relatively quickly, considering it was a petrol station, and the staff members were friendly and attentive, offering great value for the quality and taste of the pizza.
It's rare to find such a reliable and satisfying food option at a petrol station.
While the ambiance may not match a traditional pizzeria, it's the taste that truly matters, and this petrol station exceeded my expectations. Whether you're on a road trip, need a quick bite, or simply crave a tasty pizza, I highly recommend giving this petrol station's pizza a try.
In conclusion, the pizza at this petrol station is a hidden treasure worth discovering. From the exceptional crust to the flavorful toppings, it provides a delightful dining experience. So, don't judge a pizza by its location—stop by the petrol station and indulge in this surprisingly delicious treat. You won't be disappointed! Special thanks to staff and chef…. And to my super surprise I took shower that they were...
Read moreGlad I found this place!! I'm staying in the area for work and happened to find them while trying to find coffee at 3 AM. First off, they have very good coffee. They have nice single serve Bunn machines with lots of options (just breakfast blend coffee for me, so good!), plus they keep already brewed coffee.
They also have hot food options, it seems 24/7, as in the early mornings I see they have lots options, including breakfast items very early in the AM.
As for gas, they offer vp racing fuels, and pilot diesel. Good prices as well. They also seem to have some space for semi trucks to park overnight. There are a bunch of semis there when I go there. Definitely a nice travel center for truck drivers. I believe they have showers as well, based on what other reviewers have said. Also, if I'm not mistaken, I think they have a rewards program, too.
And then there's the staff, super friendly people!! Overall, I definitely feel this place deserves 5 stars. So glad I decided to stop to check it out and didn't bypass for Loves.
** I want to note also I saw a one star review that said their prices are much higher than Walmart...lol.. apparently that person never bought anything at a convenience store before. And another, just plain rude reviewer saying something like "just an Arabian sending money back to India." Dude, you clearly severely lack elementary education in so many ways.
I just cannot stand it when people don't review honestly, or correctly!! You can't compare to Walmart, they're not even the same category. And a business review is definitely no place for hate...
Read moreI don’t ever like to leave bad reviews for businesses but this one was something.
On our way through to Missouri we stopped at The Southern Chef on Commerce in Jonesboro, AR and if they had an option to leave reviews I would because it was pretty awful☹️
We came in to get food and had seen that they had fried chicken, the online menu was incorrect and they only do strips now. Not a problem at all! But when we ordered burgers, I was charged for an extra drink I specified I didn’t want but didn’t notice until afterward. Again not a big deal but frustrating.
The biggest thing was that we were sold a Freal milkshake but weren’t told until afterward that the machine was broken (there was also no sign indicating the machine was down) and we wouldn’t be able to drink the shake we were sold and when asked, we could not do a refund as per their “policy.” Again, no sign at all indicating any policy regarding refunds. So, we were charged for a second thing we did not end up receiving.
Finally, this is just strange but both of the public bathrooms were marked as womens’, which isn’t a problem since they were single stall bathrooms.
Overall, the place was not super clean and the staff...
