Well this place is what you would expect for a small town bar. Super friendly staff. Quick service and clean. Then there's the food. Excellent burgers, good Philly cheesesteak, and huge pork tenderloin sandwich. Only had their fries and onion rings. Both yummy. Good place to eat close off rt. 70. Go to spot on my way back to STL from KC.

I took a risk going to a restaurant that had a few reviews. And it was a restaurant. It didn't wow me or anything. Service was good. Food wasn't remarkable. It is more of a bar than a restaurant in my estimation. The staff is very friendly and knows many of the regular people.

We had a very good experience of being here the first time. The Pork Tenderloin sandwich is huge and all the portions are huge. This place can be very busy but the service was awesome. Worth the wait and drive for good food and service.

We stopped in on our trip out to Utah. It was quite random, we were traveling, hungry, it was around 9pm. The owner Mike couldn't have been nicer, we stepped inside and instantly felt a small town welcome. A local at one of the tables bought my wife and i a drink. Unfortunately and understandable for a small town place we were told they had stopped surviving food much earlier. The owner offered to make my wife a sandwich and some chips with what he had in the back. (Something you would only get in a small town with kind, generous people) This guy doesn't know how much we appreciated that and the hospitality, feeling welcomed as out of towners, jusr passing through. The sandwich was fresh, the atmosphere was infectious, and made you want to move close by and make this our local spot. Thank you, And thank you to everyone who was in...

Been there a couple of times on a Friday for the roast beef. Good food and plenty of it for the money. This is a local tavern and smoking is allowed. The rough language is an added local feature that some may not enjoy. Staff is nice. Since they have opened another room the atmosphere...
