Warehouse Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Jonesburg

Our experience was NOT conducive to a repeat visit. Atmosphere was good, cleanliness was good, wait staff was incredible however the food was terrible. Deep fried items were uncooked and a soggy greasy mess. The fries dumped in the burger basket literally saturated the bottom bun. I should have taken a picture as you literally could not see the bottom bun as it disintegrated into a greasy mush and couldn’t be eaten unless you used a knife and fork. As I said, the waitress was awesome and obviously felt bad. She brought a new bun out and offered a free dessert to compensate however we were not interested in dessert and thanked her. We really just wanted to finish and get out.

Checking out was a challenge as the credit card readers were not working. Our waitress had to call managers/owners on the phone to troubleshoot however after about 10 minutes there was still no resolution. This was a busy Saturday night and our waitress was just getting farther behind trying to remediate the issue but she handled it professionally. (Not having management/ownership visible/on -site on a busy Saturday night was an eye opener) We finally used the ATM and left …..almost running.

You can get a bad meal at any restaurant so I get it however not having management / ownership visible jeopardizes a restaurant’s success and only increases the likelihood of a negative experience. We (4) were passing through and decided to stop for dinner at 8 pm. The place was clean enough, but the service was mediocre at best as it was rather slow and inattentive. For our appetizer we ordered a sampler of 3 options. Our waitress was unable to accurately describe how many of any given item would come on the sampler and gave us the impression that it would include more than it did. When it came out, one of the three items was wrong. We received fried cauliflower instead of fried pickles. Although it tasted fine, not everyone in our party likes cauliflower and so it was a disappointment. The fried zucchini had no flavor and was described by one of our party as easily the worst fried zucchini he'd ever had. We settled on calling them fried discs. The fried ravioli were pretty good and served with marinara, but from the waitress description we thought we would receive 5, and the plate only included 3. For our meal, we all ordered something different. I ordered a patty melt and waffle fries. The patty melt was good enough, but the fries were over done and very hard. When we paid, they refused to split the appetizer (2-ways). Overall would not recommend to anyone passing through or be inclined to stop again. First time being here we were told we were going to get more on the sampler than what we actually received it was good but you would think for eight bucks you would get more than just a tease. Second of all the second order that came out which was a sandwich and fries was supposed to be a double cheeseburger with an egg on top and waffle fries and it came out of single cheeseburger with look like a old egg from breakfast that they just didn't serve and put it on the first sandwich that was ordered with it and there was crinkle fries. Fries were cold Burger was so covered with grease that the bun was soggy and the fries were cold and not fresh. We waited forever to get orders then when our group came in they waited forever to get there order it was almost like we weren't even there even though we took up the majority of the space. I just think they need more staff and fresh food and if you're going to take an order right it down if you can't remember the order this stops from the order being wrong and disappointing...
