Dollar General — Local services in Jonesburg

The one thing I can say that is positive is things are much more stocked and it looks cleaner... as far as quality that's different. The started produce and I've been given food poisoning at least 3 times from their fresh vegetables/fruits as well as frozen goods... They don't properly update prices, on thing even AFTER I made them aware, professionalism has downed extremely, and it seems like the employees have little care, some don't even wear uniform, or even COMB THEIR HAIR. which I was harassed about when I wore the wrong style of PANTS let alone not even wearing a shirt or name tag. They have a teenager at night who lacks basic knowledge of anything, wearing SHORTS or sweatpants and any old t-shirt while sucking on lollipops and acting clueless which is beyond unprofessional. You may as well self check because either you'll have to wait a half decade to get someone to the register OR They'll sit and have a 30 minute conversation with a customer as BOTH their self check sits out of service so youre stuck waiting for them to finish their chatting (which wouldn't be so serious IF they at least had their self checks up while doing so) I don't know WHAT happened in the last year in a half but it's not the same standards I was DRILLED about when I was employed, very disappointed and glad I've decided not to return upon...

Nice people to ask about things in the store. But get the stuff on the shelves because there alot of people this the only way to get what they need. But if you can hire a person that could deliver to there house when they need it. Just in the city limits.i think it would catch on .like back in the old days in the grocery store..think about it.please give it a try and thank you...

Very helpful staff. Kind & courtious. Between the three of us, we bought three cart loads of sale items. The car was already loaded since we were enroute to a vacation destination. They are holding our merchandise until we come by on our way home with less of a packed vehichle. Also one of the cleanest and more organized dg's...
