La Chaparrita Mexican Food — Restaurant in Jonestown

Just went for the first time last week. Had friends that went quite a while ago that didn't recommend it, but decided to give it a try. Am Glad I did. They may have had a rocky start, but was pleasantly surprised by good and solid Tex Mex. The chips and salsa were quite nice, thin and light freshly fired tortilla chips, and a very flavorful salsa. Tried the basics with the Tres Amigo Plate, Crispy Taco, I Cheese and 1 Beef Enchilada, rice and beans. All delicious and what you would expect in a good TexMex establishment. Waitstaff very friendly, and could not be more attentive, and the owner(?) stopped by to see that we were happy. Was excited to come here based on a recommendation but never again.

The server didn’t even want to bother with us and when I ordered she kept telling us everything was unavailable.

When our food was ready she didn’t even tell us it was ready and just left it on the counter without saying a word.

Worst customer service I’ve had in years. I will never...

One the worst and most over priced places that i have being to . Dnt spend your money here the tacos are not with what they are charging $2.79 each . N i was disappointed with the way the girl almost didn't wanna take my order .
