Since the new McDonald's redesign, this place is now terrible for so many reasons! Customer service and human interaction is now non-existent. The McDonald's corporation expects you to file in, place your order like a robot, receive your food, and move on. There is a counter with registers, but among my last 5 visits, nobody is ever there. You may be asking, "Why does he keep going there?" Well, I have kids. Parents will understand. Now, Instead of quickly placing your order with a cashier in 3 minutes (because I already know what we want), you have to use a touch screen to hunt and peck on screens and sub menus, placing your selections into a shopping cart, then bringing your selections back up to hunt and peck and find the ingredients that you don't like and modify the order and remove the things that you don't want from your selections, then go on another menu and submenu and find the things that you want to add to your order and hopefully you know which sub menu the other little pieces you want are on, because it isn't always clear where you would find an apple pie, or other little tidbits your kids might want. Do you want chocolate milk or some other selection that isn't normally on a Happy Meal? Maybe you forgot that one kid wants ranch and the other one wants barbecue. Well, you better bring that back up and modify and remove and add this then the other thing. All the while, your kids are hanging on you wondering what's taking so long and they have to go to the bathroom and it's all extremely stressful. So, I don't want to pick up the ice cream until everybody's finished their meal, but I cannot tell that to a cashier. Human interaction is prohibited. My options are to receive the ice cream with the rest of my order and let it melt while my kids run back and forth between the play place and picking away at their meal slowly. Or, I can decide to place a completely separate order when my kids have finished their meal and take another 10 minutes to figure out where that is on the sub menus, taking my card out of the wallet, making sure my kids are okay and not hurting each other or themselves while I'm gone. If you have any questions about a menu item or what comes with what or what might be recommended, that's too bad, because no humans are present. đŸ€· They're all tucked away back in the kitchen attending to food and the drive-thru. But hey, whatever the corporation can do to save a few bucks on payroll. So, this whole endeavor has now taken me 15 to 20 minutes, instead of the 3 or 4 minutes it would normally take if I could just tell somebody what I want. So we go and sit in our table and wait for the food to come. After a little while, we get our food. We have an abundance of fries, but no ketchup. I head up towards the main counter area and look around the dining room. There is no longer a surface area where you would help yourself to condiments and other niceties in a self-service fashion. I suppose people helping themselves to as much ketchup as possible really hurt the bottom line. I go to the counter where nobody is present and wait for 5 minutes for somebody to hopefully arrive. Finally I resort to yelling back to the kitchen to get somebody's attention. A boy apologizes for this oversight and disappears back into the kitchen for a couple minutes, returning with ketchup packets. We need quite a bit of ketchup, so I bide my time, ripping open about 10 different individual ketchup packets and squirting them out onto my tray. Now that I'm finally situated, I open my quarter pounder with cheese. I had ordered it with the deluxe dressings, minus onions. I received the standard sandwich with onions. So, once again I trek up to the counter, wait around a few minutes and then start yelling like a crazy man back into the kitchen to get somebody's attention and explain the situation. Once again they apologize for the mishap and I go back to my seat to wait for my sandwich. Review out of space, but there's 2 more trips to the counter, more napkins & a refill. đŸ˜©

Filthiest McDonald’s ever. Lazy staff. We’ve been to this location twice in about a month. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt the first time but I shouldn’t have. First time: a group of workers were standing and sitting in the lobby. Didn’t acknowledge us at all. Continued their conversations as we were ordering. We talked back to the play area where EVERY SINGLE TABLE was filthy. My boyfriend asked for a rag and cleaner to do it himself since they were clearly incapable of doing what they are paid to do. One of the workers responded “no I’ll do it.” She did come and do it but offered no apology or anything. They continued their conversations for 25 more minutes. We decided to run through the drive through afterwards because my daughter wanted a shake. The shake was DISGUSTING. The workers- including the assistant manager- were gossiping, dancing, laughing and playing on their phones. Second time: same FILTHY tables. When asked if they could clean one off we were met with “no. We are short staffed so we can’t clean the tables”. We asked again and ours was wiped down but the rest were still filthy. Table next to us got their food and were told “if anything is wrong or missing just come up to the counter”. Got our food and it was cold. Idk what happened but this location never used to be this bad. Please train your workers better and enforce standard procedures and hold them to it.

This is a nice, clean, and friendly McDonald's in a convenient location near 169 as you are driving from the Cities. The seating area was very recently cleaned. There was no trash anywhere. The flat screen TV was showing the local news with Closed Captioning on. There was a free newspaper set neatly on one of the tables. The amenities looks like something you would see in an upscale cafe. You can see the pictures of the bathroom which shows a very fancy air dryer and some back splash. You could tell that the staff treated their regulars well, knowing their order and joking around with them. However, there was one unprofessional conversation I overheard while I was eating. A young man was telling his colleagues how he kept getting drunk texts from a young lady, perhaps another colleague?, all night last night. He proceeded to read them off and try to discuss what they meant.

We visited the store on Sunday just after 5:30 p.m. . we decided to go inside so we could use the restroom and we were going to order one vanilla shake, and one ice cream cone. When we walked in, no one was waiting to be helped but we went to the kiosk and completed our order, walked to the counter and paid. We stepped off to the side to wait for our order with our number. There was a display monitor that showed numbers for presumably all the cars going through the drive-thru. there were a couple of people that had numbers called that came from tables and picked up their food, but after 8 minutes and a flurry of activity with probably 30 cars going through the drive-thru, we still did not have our ice cream. I was annoyed, and ask the people behind the counter what the problem was since I had seen them prepare multiple shakes and ice cream cones for cars going through the drive-thru, and even people that came in after us to the dining room. the staff was very nice and seemed well-intentioned, but clearly there's a problem with their system and management! We did notice the safety hazard on the floor, which was a spilled vanilla shake laying in front of the machine. for more than 10 minutes we watched them all step over it and around it, and no one would clean it up. Now having stood there for 11 minutes I asked again about our order and pointed out that our number never moved from the in-progress side of the display to the now serving! After loudly explaining that it shouldn't take 10 minutes to get an ice cream cone in a vanilla shake, one guy said that ours was next, but then it still wasn't. so I had to get angrier and finally someone stopped what they were doing to serve us one cone, and one shake. A word to the wise would be to travel further down the road to dairy Queen!...

I have never had such a horrible experience as I have had with this McDonald's. I live out of state and was on my way to the airport when I stopped in the drive thru 6/11/18. I ordered 5 items, 2 of which were mcgriddles. I didn't realize that one of my sandwiches wasn't in the bag until after I left. By the time I realized it, I didn't have time to go back. I tried calling the restaurant directly but the phone kept ringing and ringing with no answer. I eventually gave up and called corporate who said they would have the franchise owner call me back. I patiently waited... no call back. I called about 6-7 times since and have been told that they would have someone call me back. From the beginning, all I have wanted was my money back for the sandwich that I paid for and didn't receive. The last time I called corporate, they said they would send me coupons since I still hadn't been contacted and it was Oct. 12th. I have not received the coupons. Today, I received a generic letter thanking me for my feedback and my time and apologizing for the lack of service I was given. They apologize for not being able to speak over the phone to resolve the issue, but states they are thankful for McDonald's corporate for sending me the coupons (which I still haven't received). I am so disappointed, frustrated and upset with this entire process. It should NOT have taken almost 5 months to, not only get a reply, but an attempt of resolving the issue. I have not gotten one call/voicemail/message from anyone other than the letter I got from April today. I promise, I will never give my business to this McDonald's again. I feel incredibly dismissed, ignored and...
