Jack in the Box has been around since the 70' s and I have made the mistake of going to a few over the years and looking back I would say the worst one is on the 14th Street it was DIRTY, STICKY AND DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTING and I left.
I have ventured to the one by Sears on Arlington Ave. I placed my order thinking the wait would not be long since I was the only person there silky me the wait was long and the food was cold and tasteless I requested a refund and left.
Now the Jack in the Box at 5642 30th Street is in a CLASS of its own I am not quite sure if it is just messy or just dirty or a combination if both depends on when you go. But I can say for sure it never feels CLEAN.
To Jack in the Box's credit there they do have a lot of homeless both in and out of the place so I can't say they are not trying to keep the place CLEAN but they are losing.
The drink area was a disaster so I decided it was better if I got back in my car and used the drive thru.
So by passing the eating area and now your look towards the persons preparing you food now here lies the MOST IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE the employees are CLEAN, NEAT AND PRESENTABLE.
The young lady who took my order was VERY SWEET, NICE AND FRIENDLY what stood out most was she actually looked in the bag to make sure my order was complete before handing it to me and then asked me if the order was correct NOW THAT WAS TRUELY IMPRESSIVE.
My attention is never on the QUALITY OF FOOD which has not CHANGE in all these years but in getting the order right becsuse when I get home and hand it to my son I do not want to see a disappointed look.
To me Jack in the Box is not known for their QUALITY but for QUANTITY you get a lot for your BUCK so I know it is not In and Out Burgers but at the least GET THE ORDER RIGHT and at this Jack in the Box they...
Read moreTerrible customer service 😑. The cashier had a hard time hearing our order and asked us to pull up to the window. We had repeated things a few times, but when he said it back, it was correct. Anyway, we had to pull to the front, then they brought the food to us. Our drink was incorrect, and one sandwich was made wrong. So we asked if they could fix it. That clearly irritated him because he went back and forth from us to the store about 3 times saying "No you didn't order that drink and that sandwich is what I seen on the receipt" we said "but it's not what we wanted, can you just give us our sandwich and drink you must have misheard us".
Next thing you know, he got defensive and hustled into the store, and out came a woman with a nasty attitude! She immediately said, "Here is the drink. You owe $5.95, and three people in the back testified that you all did not order a grilled sandwich." That was the end of our patience... We proceeded to loudly say to her, "we are the unsatisfied customers who paid and willing to pay for a mistake that yall made! So what in the world is telling us that 3 people in the back testified against us! Just give us out sandwich WE asked for and take the extra $5.95 for the drink!!!" She graciously replied, "we will take care of it this time, but next time you have to take what is on the receipt. " Then she waddled away. Before she went through the door, my mother replied to her statement "We will NOT be back."
So that was the customer service. Now my food was good. I got a spicy chicken. My fries were cold, though, and my iced tea was not all the way full.
My sister was afraid to eat her grilled sandwich, though, no telling what it went through in those angry peoples...
Read moreWe Frequent frequent this establishment and it is unbeatable for any other Jack-in-the-Box you can put against it was 13 years ago I went every night to this Jack-in-the-Box through the drive-through and I ordered something that had them in order before what it was was a Neapolitan shake which has strawberry vanilla and chocolate and I explained how to make it and it was made perfect also handthree perfect cherries on top when I first ask them to make it they didn’t know if they could to make it Then the manager came on a new mount remember her name but I see you’re there I didn’t even know she said she could make it and she did and it was perfect it is now been seven years and I go there all the time and I see the same manager and he none she doesn’t make it all the time anymore but she smiles just the same I’ve never seen her in a bad moon and neither of us in the employees area they are all pretty good people workers and they’re nice to the homeless they are nice to the poor in to the rich they do not or they do not act Any different if you come in there homeless in filthy or Rich and Into Cash and in a tux they treat you the same way I had a homeless campaign some years ago and they alone all the homeless that were there with me throughout the day to receive free sodas on those days it was only for a 24 hour.
