This is the WORST McDonald’s I have ever been to! We first pulled into the drive thru (second bay) as a car was in the first lane. We sat forever with no answer to take our order. The car in the first bay was honking trying to get someone to answer. I pulled my car around to park and decided to go in. As I pulled around whoever working the drive thru had two in line plus pulled cars forward to wait and have food be brought to them. I went in to order and the cashier messed up giving a customer change and a manager had to come help. The dining room was full of people waiting for their food and unsupervised children RUNNING around! They were bringing in food/drinks from elsewhere and acting like complete fools! I used a kiosk to order. It didn’t print my receipt so I walked to the counter to ask for it, the cashier and manager both stood there and said I was fine and didn’t need it. I also asked if it said my order was to go because the kiosk didn’t give the option. The manager said they can make it that way. I placed my order at 6:32pm. The man at the counter when I first came in was brought his food almost immediately the girl told him she’d be right back with his drink. (She was NOT right back with it, he waited about 10 minutes!) Order 255 came up. She again said she’d be back with their drinks and never came back but you could see her Aimlessly walking around in the kitchen. Then order 253 came up. It sat on the counter until I left. Me and a few other customers struck up conversation on the service. One guy (who was in the building before I) stated he had been waiting for 30 minutes already. Then came the gal with MY food! Again said she’ll be back with my drinks, so I stopped her I said order 255 has been here longer than I and you told them you’d be back with their drinks, get theirs first! So she did. Then she brought mine but still hadn’t brought the guy who had been waiting for his food for over 30 mins anything! So I told her how long he’d been waiting and his order number. His food was then brought after she went to get it. Another gentleman who was picking up a door dash had been waiting sometime as well, he told me his number was on the “in progress” and disappeared. He was right it disappeared after food was taken outside to people also waiting! All this time manager Chelsy was on her phone worried about some other person coming in to work. She’s walking around texting while she could’ve been helping her employees! She’d take her phone out text and put it away then slowly bag one bag then back to texting while her employees are completely lost! She mentioned “so and so is coming in so y’all won’t have to worry anymore” ??? Why put the damn phone up and do your damn job!! I waited over 20 minutes for my food. You can tell it had sat for awhile my fries were cold. My son didn’t get a toy in his happy meal. It was absolutely the WORST McDonald’s I’ve ever been to!! & since I didn’t get my receipt here’s my bank statement. I was there at 6:32 pm on July 24,2024 I’ve worked fast food and this was absurd! Read moreI came on 11/26/2018 around 11:15 PM I work late, so when I decided to stop by McDonald's on the way home I thought it was going to be quick and easy. WRONG! To start it off the gal in the drive-thru was extremely rude. I went to order some nuggets and a sweet tea, she responds, "We don't have sweet tea", no "I'm sorry", or "Unfortunately, we don't have that available." So I just ordered a water. The "employee" (if you can even call her that, she certainly didn't act like she had any customer service training) then continued to be quiet through the entire time she was taking my order, then just tells me my total and doesn't ask if anything was correct or what size or anything. So I get in the looooong line after getting my order taken care of. I sat for 20 minutes in the drive-thru lane and majority of people left and I was still sitting. I eventually got tired of the wait and went inside. When I approached the counter, the lady at behind the counter looks at me like she has never seen another person in her life and bluntly and rudely says, "We're closed". Okay, if you're closed, why are the doors wide open and unlocked? That's poor security. I then tell her that, "The door was unlocked, why is the drive-thru taking so long?". She completely ignores the question and just says, "The drive-thru is open, but the lobby is closed." I ask her why she didn't aswer my question and just gives me this dumb look, like it's an inconvenience for her to her job which I am prettt sure, she was the same lady who "took" my order. I ended up leaving and decided that the unprofessionalism and long wait wasn't worth the 8 dollars. This is the worst customer service I have encountered at a McDonald's and that's saying a lot. Your staff needs to be more trained and realize the customer is the number one priority. And the employee who tooj my order needs to have aomeone speak with her about her attitude...
Read moreMy niece just ordered some food from the Court Street McDonalds for myself and her. We are both deathly allergic to onions and asked for none. Not only did we have loads of onions on both big Mac's that we ordered, the fries were cold and soggy I don't even know how it's possible to be both. The worse part about everything was when I called to let the manager Trina know she completely ignored the fact I told her Im allergic to onions, and told me to return the food and bring my receipt. She was very rude and disregarding to her ServSafe certification, that is if she even have one. Never knowing not even 2 months ago I was just working for McDonald's in Bourbonnais. I will definitely not only be contacting the District manager, but corporate as well. Anyone who disregards health concerns especially life threatening ones should not be working somewhere they can potentially effect someone's life. Great job being rude and disregarding to your customers Trina. It's lovely to know there is people working in a restaurant and clearly hasn't been taught the basics of allergens. Being rude and disrespectful to your customers will get you absolutely nowhere. I hope this is not the way you treat all your customers. I would have loved to bring the food and the receipts back, but not only did I have to take medication for my hands immediately breaking out when I opened the burgers, my niece was rushed to the hospital due to her tongue swelling. You never know what others face so maybe you can learn from this mistake. I hate to say it, but McDonald's will be facing a hell of a law suit due to the neglecting to follow simple instructions.
