The 8 One Five offers something different for an area that is saturated in dive bars. I enjoyed a great example of an Old Fashion while sitting on a lounge bench.
My only critique was the atmosphere; namely the music and how loud it was. Any sort of conversation you want to have while at a cocktail lounge was being drown out by music you'd find down the street at No Dogs. The rest of the décor and seating was great and something you'd find at a cocktail lounge in a larger city.
If they can fix the music by lowering the volume and changing the vibe of the music they play, it'll be a great addition to the area and somewhere I'd like to see myself visiting regularly...

   Read moreThis was our first visit here tonight on a weekday. It was pretty busy. They had Christmas trivia going on, how fun. I ordered a martini and it was very tasty. My husband wanted a red wine, but unfortunately they did not have any red. He got a Pinot and said it was fair. The martini was delicious, but the bartender tried to serve our drinks and some dirty gross glasses. Both of our glasses were dirty and when I requested a different glass, she served the next drinks with an attitude so unfortunate for that because I probably will not be back.
