Essential Smoothies Cafe — Restaurant in Bradley

Lent was the perfect opportunity to try out this vegan spot I always walk past. I should have stopped by sooner. The vegan mac is out of this world! The best vegetarian burger I've tried. The bun was soft and fluffy. The patty was incredible. And BIG! As a meat lover, I can't believe it is vegan! The sauce tastes like an elevated bigmac sauce. I can't wait to try out the other burgers (which probably won't happen since I have a feeling I'll just end up ordering the vegan mac again!). She also had falafels for sale. You can't beat a fresh, homemade falafel. I bought falafel balls as such and it was very good. The only thing I'd add is some salt. If you're having a falafel wrap, it won't be an issue.

For vegans (and non-vegetarians), this spot is a must try. Even my in-laws, who are picky eaters, said the burgers were fantastic! And that is high praise...

This place is an absolute gem! The owners are a lovely couple with an inspiring mission. The associates were friendly and knowledgeable and the food... Thee most delicious meals served in filling portion sizes. I ordered the falafel sandwich with garlic truffle fries. The falafel is home made and tastes authentic; a crispy outside with a hearty center. As a potato enthusiast, these fries are a banger! The other items pictured are the Peach BBQ "Meatball" sub, and the Smash burger with sweet potato fries (with the option to add sugar and cinnamon). Highly recommend stopping here. They also do markets and festivals. Even if you aren't plant based, but curious... You wont be...

Good location real close to the parking lot and comfortable seating. Great option for healthy eaters. Definitely coming back for smoothies and different options. Food was 7/10. Staff was a bit forgetful with my order which kind of irritated me. I got the American Dream burger, sweet potato fries and a smoothie for my friend. I paid about 30$ because I tipped pretty well. I did not like the burger personally but everything else was good. The sweet potato fries were very crispy and had superb flavor reminded me of ones you’d get at a high end restaurant. The smoothie was 9/10, very well put together. Very open and knowledgeable about what they had to offer...
