El Rey Del Taco — Restaurant in Kansas City

I ordered 9 tacos and when I got home I only had 5 in my bag. I live 35 minutes away and didn’t even notice there was missing tacos until I had got home. I tried calling and when I did they wouldn’t answer instead they let the phone ring until it automatically hung up. I went back the next day and told them what had happened just so they could be more careful with peoples orders, but instead of being professional and apologizing I was approached with attitude and disrespect. The lady told me that I couldn’t get a refund even if I had the receipt because I was a day late even when I tried to explain my situation it was quickly shut down, so basically this place will tell you to your face that they’re robbing you and there’s nothing you can do about it. I didn’t want a refund I just wanted them to know, so that when I did place a order that day they wouldn’t mess it up AGAIN. Food is good, but as much as they charge they should definitely be more professional and understanding. If you’re looking to get half your order and robbed this is the place...

Shut up! I’m back with a new taco spot I tried. Get out of town but please stay forever. Got both Asada and pollo tacos that were seasoned and cooked to perfection! My order was ready in less than 10 minutes & the jamaica (sorry of I spelled that wrong) Hibiscus was to die for I’m honestly sad I drank all mine! It’s located in an amazing spot. The place it was before I’ve gone to since I was a child and I’m extremely happy such a delicious tasting place took over the building! 10/10 for sure! DONT FORGET TO TIP! Everything about this place is good 👍! I love coming here. Unfortunately I have been caught in the drive through several times waiting for over 30 minutes only to have them turn out the lights and then say that they are closed. I also had several cars behind me. I tried telling them that I was trapped in and they just didn't even answer me. I had to get out of my car and tell everyone in the drive through that they were closed. This has happened to me 2 times! This was a few months ago.
