A very small ice cream stand with a simple menu and outdoor seating. I made the trip to check it out and was not disappointed! I got a Candied pecan scoop in a waffle cone. It was amazing! I understand why this place is popular. While I sat and ate, a small crowd gathered to get ice cream too. I will be back for more. 😁

Tried The Scoop on the Go Explore KC Ice Cream Tour and it was absolutely fantastic. It was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The 2 that were working were the makers of the ice cream. I love supporting local businesses. This is a must stop for some of the best ice cream in KC!

Great ice cream!

Food: I tried several flavors and they were all so good! That was my first time trying ube...very interesting and different (in a good way!). I selected the 'flight' which is essentially a small amount of 4 flavors.

Service: I don't recall the young lady's name but she was nice as can be, very personable, and upon learning we were out of towners, she offered useful advice on other places to try in KC for dinner, etc.

I would absolutely return to Martin...

I just can't get enough of this place! The flavors are all amazing. My favorite is banana cream pie, oh my goodness! Years ago, we went to a place in Savannah, Georgia that is supposed to have the world's best ice cream but hands down, Martin City ice cream is a knockout ! 🍦 Such a cute area to sit and enjoy ice cream- So glad to see this darling area become so charming, so much to do and experience...

Ice cream is good. We used to come here because the price was better than most other places but it was over $7 for one scoop in a waffle cone mid July 2024. That is now on par with Andy's or Betty Raes so not sure it is worth it to sit on broken tables outside. Martin City Brewing could at least make the seating area clean and...
