I am the niece (Lisa Anne Stiles Floyd) of Phyllis and Raymond May. I recently moved back to Kansas City after almost 50 years...yay!!! I can absolutely promise you that you need to look no where else for your kielbasa and other Polish delights...way too many great childhood memories of this place to list...Gene the butcher, the smokehouse out back, singing Christmas carols around the little decorated tree behind the store, listening to the train come barreling through the neighborhood, Aunt Phyllis' Easter table, her blond beehive hairdo, the smell of her homemade yeast rolls rising in the cupboard of her kitchen, the day she finally installed the pool, getting to jam with Pete Eye of the Pete Eye Trio at her house, playing that monster church organ in the living room, her gorgeous French Provincial furniture, and of course, their beautiful children Ramey (RIP), Linda, Michelle (RIP), and Hank (RIP)...Uncle Ray was a gentle giant and his quietness was never to be taken lightly...he definitely knew what "he brought to the table" in regards to his kielbasa...I miss you all everyday...so thrilled to know the legacy of May's kielbasa is being continued by the...

I also tried a side of coleslaw. It was as good as I expected. They sell meat by the pound; kielbasa, kabanosy, sauerkraut, and pierogies. They also have other sandwiches; burgers, Ruben, blt, tenderloin, etc. If you are looking for something better than a fast food place, I recommend you support this 90+ year...
