1/23/22 - Every business has an off day but if the quality is visibly inedible, why serve that to your customer? The cookie was definitely burned, it smelled burned, was hard and took a lot of elbow grease to cut. Gave up and trashed it after calling the store asking for a resolution. Manager stated she'd take it off the bill, which made it easier to throw out and not feel like I wasted my money. Comparing that to what is advertised and seeing someone else's pic, mine was a FAIL. Mine on the left of the collage vs the pic uploaded by a user King Blue, on the right vs what The Hut advertises in the other image. *Update on 1/27/22 - My original order total was $25.85. They, Pizza Hut, officially charged my card $25.29, to include the refund of the cookie and said that's the correct total. Doesn't take much rocket science to know the math makes no sense if I'm being credited for the cookie. The adjustment was $.56! I ordered wings, $9.99, ranch $.70, cookie from the $6.50 line up and a pizza from the $6.50 line up. They emailed me a receipt today saying they believe the total is right, but how? They SHOW $9.99 for the wings, $0 for ceasar salad (where that come from?), $.70 for the ranch, and $12.49 for the pizza, no mention of the cookie. It's the principle of the matter. I tried to place the order on line, they I have to go to the pizza close by me. So I did that I waited 10 minutes before I could some help. Then when I told the what wanted she we don't do those so I asked for a manager, she the manager wasn't their. So I asked for a main # to call. She said she didn't have one. So Tried on line to place the order but it wouldn't go through , but she left & went to talk to someone in the back. I asked her who was she talking to she said her supervisor. I thought she wasn't their. So I asked her to come out . She was very, very rude. While she was standing their I called back to ask for a supervisor, she said she could not help, then starts getting rude as well. Read moreOrdered during a football game. So I get that they're busy. I've been in food service for most of my life, so I have first hand experience with busy times. However, me and my boyfriend called the store after placing an order because we wanted to verify we could pay with a $100 bill as that's all the cash we had. They put me on hold for 25 minutes. They hung up on my boyfriend 3 times and yelled at him for calling, then yelled at him to use the app. When they came back to my call they asked what I wanted and I tried to explain to them that we already ordered and just needed to know about the cash. I didn't get that far. I got to say "I just need to know if" and he cut me off and screamed at me to call customer service (we did twice and neither time they knew the answer, and told us we needed to directly ask the store) I tried to explain this to him, but he subsequently hung up on me as well.
