Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Kansas City

I wanna say Andrea the manager has excellent customer service skills hands down no doubt. Now the cons the store manager's father is old fashioned with some things I didn't like. Don't talk down to the women employees & stop thinking everybody is trying to steal. He's gonna be the downfall of his son's business when you got Mc Donald's & Taco Bell are close by as competition. Also for people who are bariatric some juice or lemonade or anything non carbohydrate is needed otherwise you're not gonna satisfy some customers. Now the pro the place was clean, the staff was on point even though it was a wait it worth it. Also the Cinnamon Toast Caramel Shake I will come back again once they get some things situated. However that old man with his behavior micromanaging & talking down to women & assuming some folks are out to take is unacceptable will make this business shutdown if his son's don't keep him out or address this issue towards him...

I guess I should've known what quality the food would be when it's attached to a gas station... We ordered 2 large chili cheese fries, a steakhouse burger that is supposed to have mushrooms on it, and two drinks. The only good part of our meal was the drinks.. Our burger didn't have any mushrooms on it and was so dry. The "large" chili cheese fries were not large at all, if that's what they consider large than I don't want to know what their standard size looks like. I'm also very sad about what they call "chili". It tastes like some kind of ketchup sauce rather then a good meaty chili. It was gross. And the cheese part of my fries, just drowned in liquid canned cheese sauce... I was really looking forward to this place and now I'm just disappointed and honestly disgusted they serve food like this to their community. I can say, the workers were very nice and service was fast as well the place looked clean. But the food...

Saw it on TikTok! Had to try. Ordered online and the order process was very easy. Got the classic burger, bacon burger with extra patty, kids burger, kids chicken tenders, onion rings, fried pickles, bacon cheese fries and cajun tots. Total was $58. Not bad. However, the location is not great. Inner city gas station with the smallest parking lot! Pick up was easy and the food was hot. But online I ordered a root beer and diet coke, only to be told to get the drinks myself. Huh? Also, the pickles did not come with ranch and I asked for the wayback sauce with the tots and onion rings. We only got ketchup. Lastly, my daughter said her kids meal burger was COLD! First impressions…thanks but no thanks. The burgers were good but extremely greasy and the lettuce was old and cooked! Not having the sauces to accompany the tots, rings and pickles left the sides lacking. Sad to say, wont make that trip back. Two...
