China Feast — Restaurant in Kansas City

I have been in search of good Chinese for a while now. Allow me to save you money. This is not it! Rangoon was sub par. General's chicken is questionable. Fried chicken is mediocre at best. I was terrified to try the egg roll because it's my absolute favorite thing about Chinese food. Fried rice made me want to shave my tongue just looking at it and the smell was not appetizing. When my body rejects food, I sometimes vomit in my sleep. There is a strong possibility of that happening tonight. China Feast is the absolute WORST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE HAD THIS YEAR. THE EGG ROLL MADE MY STOMACH FLIP after one bite and I had to throw it away. Also thrown away: the fried rice, the general's chicken and the fried chicken and crab rangoon. $50 of my money that I can never get back but a well-learned lesson. Eat at your own risk. I've ordered from Ubereats 4 times and was disappointed by the food every time (not the service or wait, that's great!) Took a risk and got chinese (can't mess that up, right?) I was F'N shocked! I got sesame chicken, veggie lo mein with egg and pork ($2 up charge) and steamed dumplings. They put what looks like 3 scrambled fried eggs on top of the lo mein. Amazing.

The portions are MASSIVE! I spent $25 on food, and easily got 6 meals. I put the food on my kitchen scale, almost SEVEN POUNDS. LOL. I can eat a lot, but this is massive amounts of food. I am not complaining. Honestly the best chinese food I have ever had, better than Fire Wok. The only thing I didn't like was the dumplings. They're really small and kinda slimy, I just won't order those again.

Done through Instacart. Food was quick and carefully packaged and delivery was great. The fried chicken items were however so disgusting I just threw the whole thing out and ate the crab rangoons for dinner. I tried the orange chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. I’m not sure how the sauces themselves tasted as there was so much dirty frying oil saturating the minuscule slivers of chicken that I could only taste the oil. The amount of chicken actually being fried was bad enough as it was, probably 10% chicken and 90% batter but, to have it so over fried that the ‘chicken’ is rock solid even after being delivered in a condensation filled to go box was something else.
