Taqueria Tex-Taco — Restaurant in Katy

My Co-workers and I order from Taqueria Textaco today for lunch and when I call to place the order someone by the name of Azucena answers the phone and was very rude. Azucena rush me when placing 3 orders and mention they were busy and if had my orders ready? I did not say anything to her then. When we go pick up the order and it's our turn to pay I asked what was the first order and with a very rude and attitude voice she said its order #1 and immediately said it's $8.53 I was waiting for her to let us know what was inside the bag but she never took the time to let us know. She then rushes to the second order just mentioning the amount due and the third one also. One of my Co-workers orders a quesadilla and order guacamole and sour cream because it was extra when we get to the office to eat they did not give her the guacamole and the sour cream was watery. She did not eat it because she was afraid something was wrong with it. I have only been there a couple of times but the staff has always been courteous, friendly, and respectful. The tacos were good but the quesadilla was very greasy. I wonder if the business was sold to Azucena I had never seen her there and she just doesn't have the customer service skills to own a business. I did not want to be Rude to her but she needs to take her time to be good to her customers I know we all have bad and good days, I pray she is O.K. but needs to get better at...

I have been looking for a place with authentic Mexican food this good for years and it's super close to my house! I feel like I have found the holy grail of Mexican food in Tex Taco. So far I've had their Randy's breakfast tacos which was delicious! Then I had a beef fajita taco and that was one of the best tacos I've ever had in my life. Then I had their pork pastor taco and the spice was incredible! Every bite was soooo good! I've always loved barbacoa so I decided to try their barbacoa quesadilla and it was the most amazing quesadilla I've ever had and Im almost 40 years old! The cost of the food is also very reasonable for such outstanding flavor. I'm so happy I discovered Tex-Taco and will be going there for amazing authentic Mexican food for years to come. If you live in the Houston/Katy area, you have to try this food! 😍 The only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is because it was outdoors and quite hot since it's summer time. I've been coming here since 2010. All food here is great and every year I order 40 Tamales for Thanksgiving. The owner, he is very friendly and greets everyone he sees as well as the rest of the staff except this one lady at the front taking orders. All these years coming here this lady never gives you a smile or a welcome or nothing. She is rude and bitter AF that I wish I don't have to see her another year ..not only with me but everyone I know that has come here said the same about her. She needs to work on her customer service ALOT.
