A group of friends and myself went for lunch, and the service was just not it. The food was good, and hot, but the service was awful. The second we were greeted we were met with an exasperated attitude. We had a group of 8, which can be annoying, but we were the ONLY ones in the restaurant to start. Our server was pushy and impatient. When taking our order she was very rude and rushed us. She quite literally snatched a menu off of our table. It took 40 minutes to get food, which is understandable, there’s a lot of us, but then less than 10 minutes into eating, she came back and asked us if we wanted anything else or if we needed boxes. Most people were still actively eating. The whole time we were being stared at and circled like sharks, just waiting and rushing us to leave. We checked what time they closed just in case we were being rude, we got there two hours before they closed… so I don’t know why they were so pushy. It was just not an enjoyable experience. We felt rushed and unwelcomed the entire time. Like we were an inconvenience to the establishment. Most of my party works in service, we know what’s it’s like. We said our pleases and thank yous, weren’t overly loud, didn’t overstay our welcome. We wouldn’t even have the chance to we were rushed out. One of our servers was very sweet, the other main server was very much not. I would recommend the food, I would not...
Read moreRipoff. Way overpriced and they nickel and dime you on everything. I bought a small, simple, very non-spectacular breakfast burrito for $15. I'm used to breakfast burritos (especially at Mexican restaurants) including some kind of salsa or Pico de Gallo. They said they'd put some in there without mention of any extra charge. When I got the bill I saw that they charged $2.00 extra for about a spoonful of Pico. Sure, from one perspective its only a couple of bucks, but on principal this really left a bad taste in my mouth (PI). Train your staff to mention upcharges, especially if they are as rediculous as two bucks for a spoon of Pico! (By the way, I've heard many other people mention very similar complaints.) Being chintzy like that just isn't worth the negative vibe and resulting...
Read moreI had Chile repllenod plate & everything was delicious. Not spicy but you can add your own chile sauce which they provide. I’m from San Antonio & I lived in New Mexico, so I like spicy hot & I know good Mexican food & though in SATX they make the Chile rellenos stuffed with meat in Las Cruces, NM they fill them with cheese. These were stuffed with cheese but everything was really delicious and really authentic. The rice & beans were awesome & im particular about that. Usually always leave the beans but these were really delicious. And just right amounts. Overall really pleased with quality & service was great, everyone friendly & very attentive. And shockingly prices we’re reasonable for Hawaii. Thanks Pacos Tacos going back for breakfast can’t wait...Ono...
