My sister and I always stop every labor day to get ice cream before we go back home. Today we came in and waited in a very long line for nearly an hour. Only 2 girls were working behind and made milkshakes for customers that wanted some. The manager was nowhere and by the time we got to the ice cream stand, I demanded the manager. The manager came, told him we weren't served and that there needs to be more people working behind the ice cream stand in addition to the milkshake section. Well it isn’t exactly the same but they have opened a small arcade adjoined to the ice cream parlor with a few ufo catchers alongside a couple retro-style multis and a pin. The main dining area has been modernized including a full coffee bar with great views of round lake. Service is snappy and their apparel seems to be higher-quality. Read moreI might as well have been Casper the ghost! Not one worker greeted me while I was there with my husband and a couple of our friends! No service was given even though I wanted to buy ice cream and I would never waste my time on this place again! I've never been so ignored in my entire life and they might as well have had a sign saying that my kind isn't welcomed because that's definitely the vibe that was given!! Zero stars if I could!
