Sister Lakes Brewing Company — Restaurant in Keeler Township

This is a great new brewery. We were actually shocked by the quality of their beers considering how long they have been open.

The brewery is nice, open and has a nice outdoor seating area as well. We visited both Friday and Saturday night and did not have to wait for a seat.

The service on Friday was speedy and friendly, Saturday we had a bit of an issue. We inquired about getting a growler filled in which the bartender responded that it wouldn't be a problem as long as we had our own growler. She stated the fill would be $15. We considered that to be on the higher end.. but decent.

We had the growler filled with their Noon Whistle, which is a mainstay of theirs. We both had a pint, they filled our growler and then we asked to cash out. Upon getting the bill we noticed the growler was $17, not $15 as they had told us. When we asked about the difference in price the bartender stated that the fills were 17, not 15. Now, $2 is not a huge deal.. but that is an expensive growler fill for a 5% beer.

I guess I was just put off by the fact that they did not bother to tell us that they quoted the price wrong before they filled the growler.. then proceeded to get an attitude about it when we noticed the price change.

Overall, really good brewery with great beer. I'm sure we will be back but will not be filling...

Fantastic food and beer. Great service. Burgers and salads were top notch. Beers were terrific and they had a much wider selection than I expected.

I’m a little snobbish about craft beer so I really appreciated two specific things. 1 - Before pouring, the servers made sure the glasses were clean - and they were (I checked mine out!). 2 - They post the date of the most recent draft line cleaning near the beer taps.

They care about the beer and food.

This place is Family friendly - there is something for everyone here.

Notes - you’ll stand in line at a counter to order food and beer. Doesn’t bother me and the staff was very friendly in the process. A Customer in front of me was waiting to order a beer and told the server that the sandwich he just ate was the best sandwich he ever had. I was skeptical then but now I can agree with him. The place was fairly busy but there is a lot of seating and we had no trouble...

I love this place. But I have been here several times a year because we live 100 miles away. But I don't care for "Charlie"! Last year I talked to him over a server spilling a glass of beer in my purse and he wasn't very polite. We were there over this past weekend and I had to go up to counter to order and again not very nice again. I was asking him about the new changes to not having a watress anymore and he just started walking away from me. Then I wanted to order bottle if bourbon barrel beer to take home. Again not very friendly. I know for now on I will not deal with him. We have been coming here since you opened and this is the first time we just were not happy with being there. As much money as we spend there it is a shame because we really enjoyed...
