I write this review with a heavy heart, lighter wallet and an empty stomach. I have been eating a sea siam for YEARS, over a decade. We haven't been in about 6ish months as we moved to the other side of town. I was craving some pad thai tonight and my husband said to order and he would drive 30 mins to pick up. I called and a young lady answered, I order the usual pad thai spice level 4 no beans sprouts with tofu, a 2nd pad thai spice level 3 with chicken and 4 crispy veggie egg rolls. The young lady said 15 mins the order would be ready. I thought that was usually fast and hurried my husband out the door! He calls me about 32 mins later and says are you sure you called sea siam, they don't have our order. I said yes and I thought it was weird she didn't ask my name, let me call back. Went to my call log and redialed the number from my call log. The young lady answers! I told her my husband was there are you are saying you don't have his order, but I just talked to YOU! She asks me if I'm sure i called them, and I tell her yes I'm sure I redailed the SAME number I called 30 mins ago. Repeated my order and she says oh, I think I forgot about your order! Oh awesome, so are you gonna make it? Finally she says they are putting in the order and it will be ready soon, husband gets home they argued with him if i ordered the egg rolls...so we didn't them. Y'all this pad thai is TERRIBLE this is not the same , tastes like ketchup in it.i called back got a male, tell him it terrible and asked about new owners or new management he said they have neither and recipe hasn't changed. I told him something has definitely changed and with the new service and recipe we won't be back. I paid 35 dollars to throw the food in the trash. And now...

She always greeted me and my guests by name. If it was a birthday, she would treat the birthday guest to a meal on the house. I loved the coconut chicken soup and the peanut butter sauce they made. It was so good that Central Market offered it for purchase. I was very displeased when the restaurant was purchased and under new ownership. They stopped offering the coconut soup. I went back once and found the service and food less than what I experienced when Jam was the owner
I went in today because I was informed that the soup was once again a menu item. My friend and I ordered and were very explicit about wanting the soup.
When the server brought the soup to the table, it was some type of Thai Chile with mushrooms. We both explained that the order was incorrect and that we even pointed to the item on the menu. We asked that she return it and bring what we ordered. She said it was our error and began to argue.
With that, we asked that she cancel the order and we decided to go elsewhere
Needless to say we won't be back.
Review 3 years ago Excellent food and service always. I have dined here many times and never disappointed. Always greeted with a smile. The Coconut Lime Soup is the best comfort soup on a cold evening. Absolutely Love it
1/3/2025 Came back to see if things had changed in the last 2 years and I am so happy to say they have, so, back to 5 stars in every way. Service was fantastic. Food was great, prices reasonable. Love the coconut soup.
I highly recommend this restaurant for good...
Read moreNot only is the food wonderful, the owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met. My wife and I have certain dietary restrictions that we have to follow and they went above and beyond leaving out vegetables we didn't like, adding in additional ones we did, and taking the time to make a truly delicious dish for us. What amazed me even more is that the next time we went in, not only did they remember us, but remembered exactly what we ordered and brought it out exactly right and extremely fast.
These are people that truly care about the customer and the food. We have been in several times with our children and they are always quick to accommodate with something special just for them even if they can't find something they want on the menu.
Without the wonderful service I would make this my restaurant of choice, the food is that good. It's the owners however that really set this restaurant apart. They are such accommodating, friendly, and genuinely caring people that I would highly recommend Sea Siam to anyone that has a chance to eat there.
In a time when so many restaurants are distancing themselves from the customer, caring less and less about the quality of the food and experience it's wonderful to see a restaurant that hasn't forgotten what's really important. If you have the chance, give them a try. You will not be...
