Alulla Hibachi & Sushi (previously Hiro) — Restaurant in Kennett

My wife and I had heard about Alulla Hibachi and Sushi in the downtown Kennett square area and decided to give it a try, and I’m sure glad we did. We were both pleasantly surprised. We got there around noon on a Saturday and were the only ones there at first. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and helpful since this was our first visit.

My wife had the chicken bento box, and I had salmon with steamed mixed vegetables, a tuna roll, clear soup, and green tea. She said hers was very good and ate nearly all of it, which is pretty uncommon for her. Mine was equally as good, and I ate every bit of mine. The clear broth soup was awesome, and I highly recommend it.

They have a pretty extensive menu, so there are plenty of choices. I was surprised to learn they’ve been open about three years — I don’t know how we hadn’t tried them sooner. We will definitely be going back, and probably very soon. It was that...

I made the mistake of thinking the Alulla Hibachi in Caruthersville was the same as this location and I was absolutely wrong! The Kennett Alulla is great! They substitute the veggies if we ask, the portions are good, and the Yum Yum sauce is made right! I'll never make the mistake of going anywhere else but here to get our Hibachi fix! I don't know if both restaurants are owned by the same people, if so please look into the Caruthersville location! And keep doing what yall are doing in Kennett bc we love...

A diamond in the rough!!! We were looking for a good sushi and hibachi restaurant to go to for my birthday! I searched google maps and found this place and boy were we surprised!! Not only is it local but the food was beautiful and delicious!! The service was great too!! We are definitely going back...
