Kev's Clubhouse — Restaurant in Kenosha

A month ago this would have been an easy 5 star review with me raving about taste and quality, but I now struggle to give this 3 stars, and I truly debated whether to give it two.

A month ago and back the food was some of the highest quality and best tasting in the area but since then it's become nearly awful. For instance, there is one burger called the Tuscan Melt that one of us orders every time. Each of the last three times it's come on different bread or bun, the veggies are almost non existent, the patty is now a premade and the excellent flavor of the past nearly gone.

The BLLT I ordered a few weeks ago was, well I don't want to ruin your appetite telling you what happened so I'll just say the lobster was rancid. Actually rancid.

Our orders have been incorrect the last three times we ordered, from as simple as the wrong dressing on a salad, to major items being made the wrong way or missing one or more major ingredients, and sandwiches being inconsistent, meaning ingredients missing, the wrong kind of bread or bun, missing items etc. We simply never know what's going to arrive these days, but it's never correct.

After the bad lobster we waited a few weeks and decided to give it one last try, and not one of us got what we ordered, and what we did receive was mediocre at best.

What happened to the clubhouse in just a month I don't know. It was our favorite place to order through the pandemic but we've now given up on them after just a month. It's like night and day and happened in an instant. Literally one week it was amazing and the next it wasn't even Applebee's, or McDonald's. That...

What a ripoff. We tried getting delivery but were too far for it. So big deal, we went and picked up. Ordered some chicken sandwich and got this tiny pathetic excuse of a sandwich about the size of a lunchable sandwich. Half the listed ingredients weren't even in it. We ordered ravioli and got less than a can of chef boyardee worth of crappy ravioli. The cheeseburger we got was no bigger than a double cheeseburger from McDonald's. The salads were nasty and small for the price. We were really looking forward to this place because of the good reviews on yelp but wow it was disappointing. The sizes of stuff was raved about. We made a reservation at this establishment, and called ahead to ensure a table. When we got there, we told them our name, and they showed us the table. We had a group of 8 people, and we all were sitting, ready to order. They asked us what we want to drink, and then after we ordered a pitcher of water, (no alcohol) and they asked if we were 21 years old, and we said no, and they told us that we had to leave, because it was a bar. It is called a “Pub and grille” and there was no where on their website that mentioned the age requirement.
