So we pulled up in the drive thru and had to wait around 5 minutes before we could place our order and when we finally got to place our order. I ordered two buffalo melts, she told us her coke machine was down so we had to get waters and I asked for a moolatté and she said she can’t do that even though her coke machine has nothing to do with her moolatté slush/milk and ice cream I would know I’ve worked at a Dairy Queen before. So while we were waiting in the drive thru I went in and ordered a shake with mocha syrup added to it, the worker finally shouted for a shake after waiting a while and I went up to grab it and was immediately unimpressed first off it wasn’t the right size and she used some sort of chocolate fudge not mocha and if that wasn’t bad enough I come back out to the car and instead of two buffalo melts waiting for me it was two bbq melts that I can’t even eat because I don’t like the bacon so I wasted around 20 minutes of my time and about ten dollars of my money for something I can’t eat & don’t want to drink. We walked in and stood at the counter for maybe 7-10min while the staff were all huddled with other customers laughing and talking over by the dining area. Once someone finally came to take our order I admit I was annoyed by then and asked if they were still even open and the girl got an attitude back saying yes and I let her know we had been standing there for a while and it’s bad customer service to make customers wait while your just having conversations. The employee then said that the people that she was talking to are customers too. Yes they were customers that were done eating and just standing around. I was still figuring out what I wanted and then she had the nerve to say oh you mean you don’t know what you want yet. I ended up leaving.    Read moreWhat in the actual heck. We went on 5/17/2025 at 7:40 p.m. and the door were locked. A sign saying lobby temporarily closed due to short staffing. Ok, we thought. We'll just go through the drive through we were just coming for ice cream. We go, and we're then told at the drive through they we're going to be closed for an hour. Mind you, one female employee was sitting at the tables and had just finished eating. So, short staffed or not denying service to customers is RIDICULOUS. We were not the only customers there being turned away.
Management needs to be held accountable. There are plenty of negative reviews prior to mine. So DAIRY QUEEN, DON'T WRITE ME BACK ON MY REVIEW SAYING YOU'RE ALWAYS LISTENING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!
